Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this stove I bought this heater in 2016, i love it ! looks so real. works great . My guest ask were i got it.The only complaint i have is , i would like the top light to be at bottom so it would blend in. I feel if the light was at the bottom were the fire logs are that it would make it look more real. But its nice to see front ,sides, of it. BUY IT you will LIKE it. P.S. Sometimes i light my fall or winter candle that smells like wood and have my coffee.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ready for Holidays Duraflame is awesome and this is 3rd purchase because downsized and sold others but really missed having so ordered for new apt and it's perfect! It's a definite upgrade and going to keep apt warm and I can easily move if want to. The color is beautiful and goes with my new Coastal decor. I can't wait to decorate for the Holidays!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok, I do use it. " The purchase of this heater started off on the wrong foot. I have wanted one of "these" for some time, I have been putting it off for a few years. Finally, I took the leap of faith and purchased it! It was shipped promptly and arrived on time and the box was in perfect shape. I opened the box and the heater was "damaged!" Which tells me it was damaged in the factory, but boxed and shipped to me anyway. Talk about disappointed. So I called QVC and they knocked off a few bucks for my damaged product. Even though it would have been a hassle I should have returned it. Now the positives, it is "pretty" and it looks good when the flame is on too! I like that cozy feeling it gives the room. It heats ok, again it's pretty but doesn't heat better than any other 1500 watt heater. So you are paying for pretty. If you want a 1500 watt heater you can get one for SO much less. But if you want a pretty heater when it's on, this one will do the trick. But, buy it locally not through mail order, returning something in the mail this large would be a huge hassle!!!! "

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Duraflame! We now have 3 Duraflame Heaters in our house, and bought one for my brothers house as well. They are great for heating in the winter. We are able to keep our thermostat a bit lower and use this to make only the rooms we are using warmer. Great Investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I own an older Duraflame electric stove and saw the new one- well just had to have it! The flame effect looks even better in real life. On the tv it can look a bit flat. The brick backdrop is a nice touch and makes it feel warm and homey. The heater heats up quick and the top gets warm, but not hot. Now- if you have little kids or inquisitive pets- I would put up a barrier in front of the heater. The front vent where the heat comes out gets hot and since it's right at puppy/toddler eye level- that could end up in a painful experience. This heater is still much safer than the old kerosene ones we had, but I would recommend supervision at all times around babies or pets. The remote is great- lots of functions. I do wish it had a display on the remote to let me know the setting I just picked. You need to open the door to see a display. It's nice that the display is out of the way, so the fireplace looks realistic, but I wish it was a bit easier to tell what I just set something to. The heat is really warm and the thermostat works great. I used it all last winter. The thermostat took any guess work (or memory work) out of using it. It's a great feature! The heat no longer comes out of the bottom of the unit, but rather the top of it. This is good because you don't need to worry about catching your carpet or rugs on fire- but it does mean if you sit on the floor (Grandkids) or have low furniture, you won't get as warm with this as the old style. We put a small fan near the heater to blow the heat where we want it. The selection for the brightness of the flames is so nice! The brightness goes from very bright (can even see it in full sun!) to dimly-lit embers. The embers do not flicker, which is a shame, but they are good looking all the same. Power consumption was even less than I had planned. It cost us a lot less than the older non-ceramic style heaters. MUCH less than an old oil heater we had. I've had this fireplace in the living room, the den, the dining room and now it's in the bedroom for the Summer. It's so easy to move. It's a bit wide, but not that heavy.

Its cute and the flame is so realistic!! Love it so much!! It puts out a good amount of heat as well. I would buy this again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe, beautiful H-E-A-T I have a large room at the back of my house that I was unable to use in the winter months...until I made this purchase! The output of heat is wonderful, the 3-sided view of the "flames" definitely provides ambience and I love the features of the timer and temperature settings. The only regret I have is that I didn't purchase this sooner! Thank you Duraflame & QVC!
