Duraflame has been charming satisfied owners of their portable heaters for over 40 years. With corporate headquarters based in the historic Klamath Ferry area of Stockton, California, Duraflame boasts production facilities in both California and Kentucky. The idea for the very first Duraflame fireplace log arose from a need to dispose of a manufacturing by-product. In 1968, California Cedar Products was one of the largest makers of wood slats used for pencils. They discovered that the sawdust left over from this process could be mixed with petroleum wax to create fireplace logs in a new and highly effective way.
QVC's selection of electric heaters dressed up as beautiful living room centerpieces are sure to impress your guests as much as they will keep them comfortable. And even though many of Duraflame's products boast an old-fashioned look, the technology packed inside is anything but out-of-date. Duraflame items are also crafted from durable materials and with energy conservation in mind. Electric fireplaces are a great solution for drafty rooms, or in homes where heating the entire house is costly and impractical. So skip the soot, logs, and smoke this year and go with a new Duraflame fireplace.
