Timeless Sunflower
When I pulled this bag out of the box I gasped!!!!! The color is so beautiful in person, its more of a mustard toned yellow. Its a tad lighter than the Janine my mom has w/o the leather name on the front and I think its a tad bigger than hers too. This has got to be the best bag I own hands down... it just screams class. I will be getting this in at least one other color maybe two. I also would like to purchase the Dooney & Bourke Wavy Leather Slim Zip-Top Wristlet with Removable Strap in the same sunflower color to go with this bag.

D&B Wavy Leather Janine Satchel
Love It. This is my second Dooney & Bourke bag, my husband got this for me during the summer in a red and it is Elegant. This bag stands out, it is gorgeous. Everything that was said during the Dooney & Bourke show about it is true. I would highly recommend this bag to all the Ladies out there.

Not Happy with this Leather
I have 2 other Janines which I love. One in coated cotton (the pansy flower design) and in the pave leather in black. I love the style. Very lady-like. I carry all my purses as a satchel, and I love the fact the bag stands straight up, and it holds alot. I can put everything in vertical so everything is easy to get at. What didn't I like with this one? The wavy leather (I got it in white, which is very pretty) doesn't seems to be attached to the form underneath which gives the purse it's body. Around the metal D&B square logo plaque the leather seems stretched out and does not look like an expensive purse. I did not find that on either of my other 2 purses. Because others have commented on this, I don't want to exchange it. Really wanted to love it...

I love this bag it is the perfect size the black wavy leather is stylish and unique looking!! I ordered one for my daughter as well!! I love Dooney my most fav handbag;)

This bag is absolutely stunning!! I have the purple and the hot pink. Love the wavy leather. Now have 15 D & B bags in my collection.Thinking about ordering the red.

Sorry, it has to go !!
I ordered this in RED and excitedly waited for its delivery. They look good on TV and online but I did not get the "WOW" factor when I opened the box. Still, I let it sat on the table for a few days hoping that my first impression would change. In the end, I had to return it. This bag is on the bulky side and the leather is not soft to the touch like the other Dooney and Bourke bags that I have. I also realized that it's better to have a zippered bag. This style was not meant for me. Sorry !

Gorgeous!!
My Husband got me this for Mother's Day. I got the purple, it is GORGEOUS. I just Love the wavy leather along with the vachetta trim. It is a roomy bag and it keeps its shape. It looks and feels so elegant.!! This is my second Dooney, My first bag was from the Nile collection (croco) and now this awesome wavy leather. I dont think I woud ever purchase their plain leather or coated cotton bags because I prefer the more unusual. so please Dooney keep bringing out the exotic leathers.

The light leather
I would have bought many many Dooney bags from qvc but the untreated vachetta leather gets dirty quickly from the moisture in anyone's hands let alone just plain use. I purchased a bag once with this leather handle and it was awful after a few weeks. I sold it to a woman who said she didn't care but I lost a lot of money. Dooney PLEASE treat that vachetta leather with something that will never make it change color. It looks beautiful when out of the box but after awhile what a shame. I was embarrassed to wear it thats why I sold it.

Beautiful Bag
My husband saw this bag on QVC and insisted I order one in black, he knows I love Dooney & Bourke. I own 8 Dooney bags ranging from a small wrist wallet to a large shopping sachel and I really enjoy each one. This bag is by far the prettiest one of them all. When I opened the box I was stunned by how beautiful this bag is - every detail is just perfect. I love the addtion of the shoulder strap which will make it very versatile to carry. The shape and size is good for a day bag. This bag will be my favorite for a long, long time.

Rich & Classy Janine Wavy Leather!
I was speechless when my wavy purple "Janine" bag arrived - it is gorgeous! It looks and feels rich. I really love the natural vachetta leather accents- it adds just that touch of class to an already perfect bag. I have two other Janine bags in Croco embossed leather, but this new wavy leather is my favorite. The strap options are perfect, & I love a structured purse. I have six Dooney's now, and this one is my favorite. Keep the Janine bags coming!

I CAUGHT THE WAVE AND WON…
…AND DIDN’T REQUIRE A SURFBOARD…only the ‘wild wavy leather’ covering! :-) …I got this luxury Dooney & Bourke Satchel in Hot Pink… a different color than my many D/B bags from back in the 1970’s when D/B made the fashion scene. This Satchel is showy, hot, and oh so conveniently wearable and well-graded in its construction. I especially LOVE THE ‘NEARLY-SQUARE SHAPE’, allowing me to hug it close to the body. Handy is the preference of a detachable strap, added to a quick snap-closure. The lining is quality along with the convenient two front wall pockets. I have had no discomfort with the carriage of this classy, well-structured Satchel, and recommend D/B lovers give it a try in any color!
