Strap much shorter but still a nice bag
I rate the bag 5 stars - wish I could rate the QVC description - it would get 1 star - it states the strap drop goes up to 23 1/2 inches and in reality it is no where near that - more like 15 inches for the longest drop length - the measurement should be changed to the proper length in the description - it also said 23 1/2 inches on the TV screen when the bag was presented on TV - this might be important for women who want to buy a bag they can wear cross body - but anyway, this is a very nice bag because it is lightweight and easy to keep clean because you can just wipe a damp cloth on it to remove dirt - love that the handles or the shoulder strap can be used to carry it - I got the green and it's a very nice looking bag - has that happy summer look to it. There is plenty of room inside for all the things I like to carry with me. The zipper works great - nice and smooth.

So Perfectly Nautical!!!!!! :)
I have this bag in the navy. I am a "leather snob," so I didn't know if I'd like it, but it was so nautical looking, had to try it. I was absolutely shocked how much I love it!! Very soft hand, doesn't seem so "plastic-y" to me at all. Perfect size, holds loads, and love the D&B plate and feet on the bottom. Couldn't be happier to add this to my collection!

Beautiful Summer Bag
I bought this in the green and love the pop of color for the summer. I agree with the other review, the coated cotton is durable and very easy to keep clean. All of my items fit nicely and the bag is comfortable to carry in my hand or on my shoulder.

A great bag for spring/summer
I received this quicker than expected. A nice surprise. It was love at first sight. It is an elegant execution. Love the design and the neutral taupe stripes which will go with a variety of colors. Love that it is lightweight and can comfortably accommodate my tablet computer (Toshiba Thrive which is bulkier than an ipad). It is quite roomy, so if you are looking for a tiny bag, this might not be for you. The shoulder strap is adjustable. Although it is a true shoulder strap, in a pinch I can still wear across body. I am just under 5/4. I think I also easily attach the strap from the Janine satchel. Love also that it is easy to clean. And the price was reasonable for a bag of this quality. Some may quibble about the lack of an outside pocket, but I really think that would ruin the lines of the bag, so if you're looking for that, I would recommend another style.
This is going to be my go-to bag for the spring and summer.

Love this!
I bought taupe and love how neutral it is despite being a pattern. The coated cotton is durable and very easy to keep clean. I am seriously considering getting the navy because it's got an interesting "pop" in my opinion. All of my items fit nicely and the bag is comfortable to carry in my hand, on the crook of my arm, and on my shoulder.

Gotta Get This Elegant Nautical!
This bag lived up to my expectations. Classic Dooney touches, rich feel, stylish structured bag. I bought the taupe, and it's perfect with any outfit. The shape reminds me of another QVC popular Dooney bag...the coated cotton domed satchel that comes with 3 accessories for under $200. I've bought that bag in a bunch of colors and thought this was a nice transition. I wish it had come with one QVC-exclusive freebie, though, given its price, but a nice job overall, Dooney and QVC!
