Perfectly Beautiful!
I love so many things about this bag, it fits all of my needs. I purchased the gold and it is so pretty and classy. You can fit so much stuff in this bag like a tote or you can down size it and it still looks great. I'm kind of tough on bags and this one is holding up beautifully. The pocket in the front is perfect to reach quickly for my phone and lip glosses! Goes with everything for spring and summer. If your on the fence, go for it!

I had been waiting for this bag to go on easy pay and finally got it in the taupe. It is a really lovely bag and very lightweight. The finish is not the same as the python-embossed leather in item A229394 which is smoother but has more firmness to it. This snake-embossed leather is so soft and pliable. The edges where the leather material is folded (the strap, corners, top edge opening) show some fuzz from the part of the leather between the snakeskin scales but this is the reason how this material can be so pliable. It is able to fold and bend without the scales lifting or peeling off. I keep the logo lock hooked and can still shove my hand into the bag from the top side corners to reach for my wallet without having to release the logo lock each time. I agree that the strap may be a tad firm for now but I know it will soften up with use. Really love this bag.

I love this bag! To me it is understated elegance that can be dressed up or casual. I ordered the taupe color and feel it is a nice neutral. I like the fact that you can also use this bag as a tote when you need extra room. I also love that the bag does not scream logo and just has the beatiful hook lock closure with the D&B on one side and the Dooney duck on the other. Reasonable price, great addition to my ever growing handbag collection.

LOVE THE TAUPE!
I bought the taupe because I already have gold colored purses. The Taupe is beautiful! Very nice and looks like real snake skin. Even my 19 yr son thought I got a snake skin bag. This bag is light than their solid color leather bag which I like. The pocket on the outside makes this bag which their other style bag doesn't have. Inside pockets are good and plenty. Soft leather and nice to the touch. It is a must for all women!

STUNNING!! SOFT!! FRAGILE!!!
I love everything about this gorgeous beauty...the style, feel, softness and the taupe color, but I was disappointed when she arrived with a couple of her scales lifted up. I will be sending her back for a replacement! Thanks Dooney and Bourke for continuing to make the most gorgeous bags in the world!

Favorite Bag so far!!!!
I happen to love my taupe bag and would recommend it to anyone who like the colors of the taupe because it looks just like real snakeskin to me. I love that it is just made out of embossed leather (so that I don't feel too guilty) and I absolutely love the suppleness and texture of the purse. I love the clutch design and the fact that it can be flipped to either the duck symbol or the actual wording of Dooney and Bourke. I have gotten so many compliments on this purse and so many people that can't believe that it is a Dooney and Bourke bag.

Beautiful leather, but.....
I really wanted to love this bag. I got the taupe. I loved the leather! The colors, pattern, and feel is absolutely luxurious. The quality is wonderful, as always with D&B. However, the shoulder strap is a problem. It is very stiff and slippery on the underside so the bag kept wanting to slide off my shoulder. This is a big bag and with it loaded up I couldn't deal with it sliding off my shoulder. Unfortunately, it went back. Please make a medium size bag in the same leather with a soft shoulder strap.

Just lovely...
I have carried my taupe bag fpr a few days now and can say it's just lovely. It's a tad more light weight as well as slighltly smaller then it's big sister version in the pebble leather, which I own in the teal. & like this fact very well. It's very beautiful on your shoulder and the taupe is very exotic and expensive looking. It's soft from the start wirh no break- in period required. I recommend this to any Dooney lover !

Nice Bag With A Couple Oops With Quality.
The bag is very roomy inside.There are a couple thimgs i was disapointed with the lining of the bag would look better with the woven material like the solid leather bags also you can't put anything in front pocket the lobstet claw is smaller and lighter than other like bags so it doesn't close as well with anytjing in pocket.

Best Snake Skin Purse Ever
Just gorgeous!!! I got the taupe, but it's a beautiful mix of brown and tan to me. Just enough shine without being too over the top. Supple leather, perfect size. Love it!

First of all, I most decidedly do not feel guilty for purchasing this beautiful Dooney in the taupe shade! I encourage my Dooney sisters here at QVC to just enjoy your bag. I agree that this bag was priced lower than the pearly python leathers and in my opinion is just as lovely. I have already received many compliments on it! I enjoy carrying it and the lighter weight is appreciated (compared to the Florentine leathers). I look forward to further expanding my Dooney collection.

I didn't need another handbag but saw this and wanted to check it out. I have recently bought Dooney Florentine bags which I love. This one is so different and is a little lighter weight. Also would be good in wet weather when I might not want to use a Florentine. It's also a beautiful bag despite all of the above. Love the outside front pocket for my phone & housekey. Has several pockets inside and is a little smaller than the other D&B logo lock hobo that is so popular at the Q. I got the taupe and will be keeping it. Value is very good. Many coated cotton Dooneys are close to the same price as this one which is a nice leather. Other python print Dooneys are substantially more. It's big enough to carry a lot but not overwhelming. So glad I got it. If in doubt, check it out.
