EXCELLENT CROSSBODYBAG!
This is an excellent Crossbody Bag. I used it for shopping during christmas to keep my hands free and felt my belongings were safe. I would recommend it highly at this price you can not go wrong. It will last forever. I only use it when I will be on an outing and I need to be hands free. Looks brand new every time I take it out of my dust cover.

My bag of bags
I like Dooney better than any other brand of bags. I really wanted the blue, but they were all sold out. A few complained about the long strap, but I love the strap. It's the perfect bag. The free key ring makes it all the more better, plus the breaking down of payments doesn't hurt my pocket book.

Love The Bag- Not The Strap
I loved the style of this handbag, but the strap in the cross body configuration was bothersome to me because the buckle of the strap hit me right at my collarbone area when I wore it cross body. It was very bothersome to me. I am left handed so I wear my cross body bags over to my right side, so the strap buckle just dug into my left collar area. If I took off the extra strap to make it a shoulder bag, it was fine, but I bought the purse to be a cross body bag primarily, so back it went. Way too much money to spend if it is bothersome when you are carrying it. If D & B can modify the strap issue I would try this bag again. Beautiful quality leather though!! I have many other D & B bags but the strap was too much of an issue for me.

Really nice bag!
Really nice bag! It's a small crossbody that will hold more than just a few items. The depth of the bag is what sold me. Most smaller crossbody bags are flat. I purchased the black with brown trim which is stunning. Love pebble leather bags. It can easily be dressed up or down and will go nicely with just about any outfit. What people are saying about the straps are true so I am taking mine to a shoemaker to have the extra strap shortened. If you like the bag I would act fast. Nobody but QVC has it. I procrastinated the last time I had my eye on a D&B and nobody has one now, not even eBay! 4 stars because of the strap issue or I would give it 5.

Perfect size
Purchased this bag because of the crossbody design and because it looked like it would hold everything I need, although be small enough to tuck inside another carry-on bag as I'm a frequent flyer. Now that I've been using it for a couple of months, I'm finding it exactly the right size for wallet, glasses case, cell phone, and a few miscellaneous small items, also slip pockets for receipts, hotel key cards, etc. The strap length is fine for me right now since I wear it crossbody over heavy winter coats. Will probably take the extender out when coats aren't needed. The strap is very stiff and sometimes hard to handle. If I could change one thing on this bag, it would be the opening. While I like having a zipper to close it, especially while going through airport security, the opening is a little small, makes it hard to get things out in a hurry. However, the narrow shape makes it easy to tuck it inside another bag. I may purchase this in another color.

Like this Crossbody Bag
I can see what the other ladies are saying about the strap. Not sure why DB would've done that and not finished the inner layer of the strap like the outer layer...I still like the crossbody bag and I am keeping it. It fits my full size wallet and many more things...Perfect size for a crossbody...I seen some reviews said the stap was way to long. I personally like the length of the strap and I could even shorten it a little if I wanted to. I am 5 4' and it sits right on my hip where I like it.

Strap Issue
I agree with the comments about the strap being too long. It is my first Dooney bag and I liked the size of it. Although it is a bit pricey, I wanted to keep it so I took it to a shoe repair place and they shortened the strap by opening the strap from the ring and resewing it. I was at first hesitant because the bag is costly and I didn't want the purse ruined, but I took a chance and I am glad I did. The cost of alteration was minimal and I am now fully enjoying the bag. But I too would like to see a revision on the strap. I would consider buying another one if this happened. I would also like to request other Dooney bags of this size. This size is perfect for petite women and women who like smaller, designer bags.

Great size/look but inferior leather on strap
I'm keeping this bag despite the inferior strap because the body works for me and I have older D&B straps that I can use to eventually replace the one provided. The strap that comes with this bag has good leather on the exterior, but something that looks frankly like a dog chew on the interior: it's rough, scaly, and unfinished. I compared the strap to my other D&B straps, and those have finished leather on both sides. This one doesn't. These little cost-cutting measures will alienate customers such as myself, D&B and QVC!

Beautiful bag, hate the strap
I purchased this bag in the blue and loved it, all of the zippers with zipper pulls, tons of pockets which a must for me and held way more than I had thought. 4 stars for the strap which was way too long for me and if I took the extension off then I wouldn't be able to use as a crossbody. Also, the tan trim was more of an orange on the bag I received and didn't care for that. If they brought this bag back with a normal strap and one solid color, I will be all over it.

Great crossbody bag!!
I've carried this bag a couple of times and really like it. I bought the black, and the contrast with the brown is super classy! I do agree that the strap is rather long and causes the bag to hang longer, but it's not that bothersome for me. Looking forward to using it for our summer vacation to Myrtle Beach!

Love it!
I love this bag! Its the perfect size. I recently tore my ACL and on crutches. I bought this bag and its perfect for carrying my things around while I'm on crutches!

LOVE the bag, but not the strap!!
I love, love, love this bag, but I absolutely HATE the strap. I don't particularly care about the underside of the strap .. it's the length that is making me crazy. I've done everything to try to make the strap work, but I'm only 5'4" and this is way too long. Even at the shortest possible length .. it is still hanging too low. With the strap at that shortest length .. the ends stick out and flap around. I thought about taking it to a shoe repair shop and having the strap shortened, but I'm pretty sure it would never look right. Maybe it's the convertible strap that causes the problem, because one piece is right at the shoulder and really looks strange. If you take the center part of the strap out .. what's the point? I really wanted a "crossbody" bag. I got the black and the marine blue, but they are packed up and ready to be returned, so if someone is waiting for either color .. you're in luck. Fix the strap problem .. and I'll buy this in every color.
