I received the ginger colored bag as a Xmas and birthday gift. I absolutely love it. It's light weight and has plenty of room. The leather is beautiful inside and out. I love the strap! Don't understand negative comments regarding the strap! It's visible in the picture. The strap is a bonus to me as it's much easier on the shoulder and adds a look I personally like! Dooney did a great job on this bag! Also the fabric used for the strap is quality. Strap fabric with the leather accents add to the bags uniqueness! I was concerned about lack of a zipper but the flap closure is secure and got used to it quickly. Easy to access inside of bag while on my shoulder.

I bought this bag in Bordeaux and it is nice. The suede accents, platinum type hardware a great step up. I agree with lots of the reviewers the shoulder strap is a big let down. Does not enhance the look. Having said that I did keep this one because of the many positives. Dooney needs to take a closer look at expectations consumers are looking for. If you want to stand on quality design then produce it in its entirety!!!

Wow, just wow! I love everything about this bag. It's lightweight, leather throughout, stitching, hardware, straps - everything exudes luxury and quality! I love the smell! I do not mind the fabric straps at all. The styling is similar to a messenger bag and so I can see why this fabric was chosen. Also, you can take them off if you feel the need for a dressier bag. Someone mentioned the end tabs stuck out. That is because the straps should be attached on the inside and not at the ends. I love the inside lining and feel of the leather, so soft! I am a petite woman and the size of the bag is just perfect for me. I love it so much, I am considering really splurging and buying a different color. I bought the expresso and love the rich dark walnut look to it...sign me a fan for life! (as it will most likely last that long!)

I purchased this bag and loved it ...I soon realized the design of this bag is flawed. First of all, loved the strap, the feet, the feel of the leather. The interior, so beautiful.
What I couldn't get past, how thin the zip out suede panels were. I understand trying to lighten an otherwise heavy-ish bag, b

Let me start by saying this bag is beautiful and marvelously light weight. But it has a HUGE design flaw I am not sure I can get past. When you attach the shoulder/cross body strap, it sticks out versus draping nicely due to the leather tabs that the clips are attached to. I could just carry the strap down in the bag but who wants the inconvenience of having to fish it out and attach it every time you want to use it. At $500, I'm not sure I'm willing to put up with the inconvenience. When you look at the picture on line that shows the attached strap, you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

I own this bag in ginger, Bordeaux, and forest green. Love the lightweight Toscana Italian leather with plenty of room for all of my needs and then some which is perfect for work. It's the lightest, easy access, and the most elegant style out of all of my D&B. Amazing bag!

Love! Love! Love! This bag. Not too big. Not too small. I love the soft leather inside and out. I don't like the strap, but I love the handles. If you are looking for a nice bag I recommend this one for anyone!

Ok...So....This is a gorgeous bag. I can't deny that. The way the leather feels, smells, looks. It's luxury. Pure luxury, and I love it! However...For the price of this bag, I feel like they could have splurged a little bit and given us a secondary strap that is leather. I love the current strap, but it REALLY dresses the bag down. Seriously. I look completely normal tossing the strap across my body and going into the store wearing sweatpants, t-shirt and sneakers. I don't like that when I want to carry it out for the evening that I have to remove the strap and lose that functionality all together. There it just NO way to dress that strap up. It's depressing. I considered sending it back and getting a different bag, but I think that I may just get the different bag and keep this one as a casual bag.
