Dooney & Bourke Florentine Toscana Front Stitch Hobo Bag is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful & Light Weight Bag I received this bag in Ginger. It was packed very well with no blemishes, scratches or color issues. The inside of this bag is smooth leather. At first, I thought it would be too small for the amount of items I carry, but I tried it and it fits everything perfectly. I was surprised how light weight it was when I filled it up with stuff. Very distinctive, high end looking bag. Didn't have a problem with it slipping off my shoulder. I like it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable and Expensive Beautiful bag but always falling off my shoulder and was uncomfortable handling it. Have NOT used it but once! Very expensive purchase and not being used. Too late to return. Disapointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bag This bag is top notch from top to bottom. My husband ordered the dark brown for my Christmas gift and wow. Couldn't be happier. The only issue I have is that I miss the feet on the bottom of the bag to prevent the bottom from being scraped up. Because of no feet I have to baby it a little more than normal. Other than that I absolutely love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful but has issues - things fall out I really really really wanted to like this bag and hoped it worked out, primarily because one of the selling points for me was, during the presentation, when the point was made that this purse is not heavy to start with, on its own. So many bags are heavy before I put anything in it. This one seemed to be both big enough to carry what I needed, and small enough to keep me from stuffing things into it and adding to the weight. I loved the color, I loved the leather. But there were some issues. I found that leather scratched easily, and as others have said, the strap didn't stay on my shoulder. In theory it is a good idea to have a larger handle to distribute the weight, but you'd need athletic shoulders to keep this on (and that's sad because I loved the suede under the strap - the strap was comfortable, when it would stay on, and then I would find myself carrying the purse over my elbow or having to grasp that strap in my hand). The worst thing, though, was that things fell out. On my way to a wedding, when I got to the hotel check-in desk, I found my glasses were gone. They had slipped out of the bag at some point. So there are some great qualities about the bag, and it does have rich leather, a great size, and a great starting weight, but I didn't feel secure that my things would stay in it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scrathes way too easily! I got this bag in the burgundy color. The color is beautiful. The size is medium to small. The structure is great. The leather is gorgeous. BUT...... the bag scratches entirely too easily. I have over 30 D&B bags and love all of them. This is my first Florentine Toscana leather bag from D&B. I have never seen a bag get destroyed in 2 days like this bag did. WHAT A DISGRACE for $400+ I am not hard on my handbags and after only 2 days this bag looks like I had it for 20 years. What a waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived damaged I read the reviews over and over for this bag to make sure I wasn't going to be sorry. When I got the bag it had a 3 inch diagnonal scratch or a fold of some sort in the back of the bag smack in the middle. I was willing to over look that but then I turned it around and there's a dent on the front where the flap is and there's marks all over the body. Almost like I got a returned bag for full price. I tried it on for size and it doesn't stay on your arm. It will fall off and you'll have to keep adjusting. It doesn't conform to the body like most bags it's a stiff bag. It doesn't stand up on its own and the strap doesn't hardly move either. The flap with the little piece that slips through does not stay in place and is very annoying when your trying to get something out you have to unslip that then flop the flap. Ugh annoying. I had it for 1 day just to see if I could keep it with the marks but no I can't. The leather is beautiful and I loved the color the stitching didnt bother me I thought it was absolutely beautiful but not functional at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love this bag....BUT! This is a beautiful bag! However, a few things could be improved. The presentation stated how nicely it stays on your shoulder, due to suede being underneath the strap. I'm sure this is true if your shoulder is bare, although when I tested the bag with any type of clothing, the bag immediately slipped off my shoulder. Also, I wish the hardware was gold-tone. The platinum is beautiful, yet I wish we had a choice of both colors for the hardware. I'm torn on whether feet should be added to the bottom. Not sure! Additionally, I wish the bag came in more colors, especially black and different shades of brown. The Espresso covers one color of brown, yet more options would be appreciated. Lastly, and as beautiful as this bag is, the price does not match the product received. I bought the Ginger and Espresso, but returned them due to my reasons stated. Should the price come WAY down, plus other issues be resolved, I'll consider buying it once more. I think the size is perfect, so I hope that remains the same.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected I own several D&B bags and was super excited to purchase a new one. However upon receipt I was not impressed. The entrance into the bag was very small, where it would cause a problem with putting your wallet and other items in. In addition the purse itself was much smaller than I expected. The the leather was very stiff and hard to menuver not like my previous bags. I ultimately sent the bag back for a full refund. All in all, I would not recommend this particular bag, however, I love D&B and would recommend others. Thank you!
