Bought this in natural - beautiful color. I am definitely a "one strap" kinda girl and this bag fits the bill and then some. The braid on the strap is just right and it feels so secure on the shoulder. I'm 5 ft. tall, but do not feel that this is too large for me. Any smaller - wouldn't have been big enough! Have had several compliments on my "bag"; it just looks so smart and stylish. I could go on, but won't...

Love This Bag!!!!
I got this bag in Natural and absolutely love it. It is simple in design. I would love to see this in more colors specially pumpkin.

PERFECT... however
This bag was perfect. I loved how simple and uncluttered it looked.
I ordered tan so it could be my go-to bag for any season.
The size and function were really good.
The zipper was sturdy, and I loved the tassle.
It even fit over my shoulder!
HOWEVER... the finish was obviously streaked,
and not in a stylish way like the manufacturer
was trying for a comfortably used effect.
I have been buying D/B bags since the 80's,
and I really wanted to keep this bag,
but the finish was way below their standard.

Rich Raspberry Color And Style
The color is a beautiful rich color. This is a heavy florentine leather... Not shiny pebble so the color is more sophisticated. Would look cheap if it was shiney! I am a plus size woman who wears a bulky ski coat and the strap is plenty long. You can extend on each side... Its tough but needs to be to remain secure. Fold the top down and press down to create the smile. You drop is then about 10-12", beautiful. The reason for 4 stars is no exterior pocket. Would love a place with easy access for a phone.

A beautiful bag!
I got my bag this past week. I think the bag is very dressy without all the zippered compartments on the outside, but I would like to see a little slot on the outside to slip my cell phone in (no zippers please). I don't always hear my phone ring when it is inside a bag. I love the handle the size it is and had no problem putting it over my shoulder with a dressy winter coat (not bulky). I bought the black and it is beautiful. It is heavier than I expected though. I am still working to get the smile, but I am already smiling:). Love it! Thanks QVC for easy pay.

Dooney Spoiled
I recently received this bag in chestnut. I love the color & the leather. Soooo soft!!!!!
But due to the size of this bag I had to return it. I am 5'3" and this bag was just too big for me.
Please DB make some bags for smaller ladies.

At Last...my signature bag!
I have this bag in chestnut. Fabulous! I hope to carry this one forever. I lengthened the strap at the sides with the notches, folded over the top as it's supposed to, pushed down to create the "smile" and it fits perfectly over my Dennis Basso faux fur winter coat...and I'm a plus size lady. The leather is amazing. I am fortunate to have many Dooneys, but this one is the absolute best!

Simple, yet lovely, purse.
I love my purse! It's a good basic bag in the wonderful Florentine leather. I can only speak for myself, but the strap is perfect for me. The ONLY thing I would like to add on it, would be little 'feet' on the bottom to protect the leather. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Please RESCIND this handbag!
While I enjoy all of my D&B handbags this one is by far such a disappointment to me. As other ladies have stated the strap is to short! The bag is beautiful in florentine leather and, the strap is marvelous in it's design. However, the major down fall is the strap it fits like it was deisgned for a yound child. Mr. Dooney if you read our reviews PLEASE, PLEASE, make the STRAPS longer. If this were a true HOBO BAG there is no way the strap could or should ever have been this short. I wanted to keep it but I can't carry it the way I desire.

Strap Too Short
I loved the plain yet classy styling of this bag BUT why put such a short strap that barely fits over your shoulder?? The strap is beautifully done but doesn't begin to fit over clothing of any thickness. I would love this bag if they would correct the strap drop. Had to send it back for that reason. Sorry...

HORRIBLE BAG
So disappointed with this bag and QVC,..on TV it looks so pearly white but when I got this bag,.it looks like its been used by someone who like me didn't like what they got,..the guts of charging so much money for a lousy bag that doesn't even appear like it is for real. My 1st D&B experience to buy and this will be the last. This bag belongs to a swap meet.
