Not what I expected
I am a D&B Gal! This purse was beautiful but it was the wrong style for me so I returned it for the Florentine Vachetta Satchel in the plum. Can't wait to get it since it was my first choice to begin with. Should have known to steer from my original choice. Thanks QVC for the Easy Pay!!!

Great Gift for a bride!
Daughter wanted one for a long time but could not justify the purchase as she plans the details for a fall wedding. I purchased for her birthday and she is very proud and thankful for the added room to carry purchases. It is very lovely. Thank you Dooney & Bourke and to QVC!

Whats up with the scratches!!!!
I really wanted this bag, I love the sytle, the size, the color (orange) and the longer over the shoulder handles BUT it came with scratches all over the front! I've had the worse luck with D&B's damaged leather bags. I've had to return 80% of the leather bags I've ordered due to the scractches. When are they going to deal with this issue? I still want the bag but not if it means paying ~$400.00 for damaged goods.

What a Great Bag
I have to admit, I had never been a fan of D&B. I just didn't get it, especially at the prices that they go for. Then I began to see the new Florentine bags and I started to get interested. I saw them in person at the big M dept store and that was all it took. I had to have one. At first I wanted the one with the short whip-stitched handle and detachable shoulder strap, but in the end I settled for this one. I don't know if I will ever be able to afford another one, but I'm not certain that I will ever need to replace this one. It is a workhorse. The leather is not only great looking, it is of the best quality. I got the natural color and it goes with everything. I can fit in every imaginable thing that I might need and there is still more room. I am a D&B convert. These Florentine bags are just yummy!

I love this big bag!
Bought the green color-unique and versatile as we go into springtime colors. Also ordered the black and the navy......and the bordeaux wine color.....went wild. I will never wear out this great quality bag.

LOVE this bag!
I ordered this bag in orange and absolutely love it! I splurged, thanks to easy pay, this Christmas and got myself this bag in orange and another style in the olive. Although they are colors, they really are neutral and I can wear them with anything. I was tired of the standard brown and black purses to wear everyday. And I'm so glad I ventured outside of the standard "neutral" options! I get at least 1 compliment a day on my bag(s)! I love the fact that you can't go to a store and find these styles in these colors! And, I love easy pay! Otherwise, I could not have splurged on both bags this year! I love large purses and this one is large. I feel bad that some people are giving this purse a bad rating just because they found it to be too big. The measurements are listed on each item, so def check the measurements prior to ordering if you aren't sure exactly what size to expect. My bag's leather quality is superb and supple and it gets better every day with use. Coax the flap to smile when you first get it and it will start to fold over on it's own with use. I went to reach into it the other day and accidentally scratched it with my fingernail. No biggie, I just rubbed it right out. I can't say enough about this beautiful bag!!!

Love It!
Just received my bag in natural and I absolutely love it! It is everything that I hoped for! Totally in love with the leather aroma and it is the perfect size for the things I carry. I bought this bag not only for the name, I love dooney and bourke bags, but because I wanted a sturdy leather bag that would last me a very long time and that I would be able to carry all year round. This may be my favorite all time bag that I have owned!

Way too BIG
I liked the leather but the size was way to big. Was more like an overnight bag. I like double strap purses this was a plus. I ordered the olive color was okay. wish they would make this purse just smaller.

Florentine not for me!
Received my replacment bag, (due to scratches on the first) The 2nd bag was way worse... side seemed wore out as well as scratches, wish I would have kept the first, :(.
Perfect size and love the style.... However for this price wanted to be happy, not! Its going back and no replacement this time...

Disappointed
The straps are too short. I know, I know, they look long enough in the photograph, but photos can deceive. I can fit this bag over my shoulder with no problem--as long as I'm not wearing a coat. When I am wearing a coat, the bag is in my arm pit and my coat puffs up on both sides of the straps. I'm an average-sized American woman. This just should not happen. Because it has no handles, there's no other way to carry it; it's way too big to hang off your forearm. D&B has another version of this satchel with handles and shoulder straps. Get that one.

Beautiful Bag!
I was very surprised at the negative reviews. I have had this bag for a while, and I just love it! I even ordered the matching wallet from D&B. The Florentine Leather is the best! Yes, it does get scratches, but they rub out with the oil from your fingers. The color of my green bag is beautiful and an exact match to the wallet from D& B. So, the color is spot on. The handles have just the right drop, there are feet on the bottom to protect the leather, and it is not too heavy or too big! (I am 5'2" and about 118 lbs) So, as a petite woman I think that it is just the right size. I own one other Florentine bag, and I have decided that they are the only ones I am going to buy in the future. Thanks QVC for easy pay because that is the only way I could afford to buy them.

Beautiful Bag
This bag is beauiful! I had a few problems wih cusomer service but overall things worked out and I was able to get the bag. The straps are not long enough for me that's why I'm thinking about returning it.
