For the price, and YES, I love Dooney and own many, this one went back. The leather was strange, unlike any other Dooney bag I own. It had a separation in a stitched area of the front pocket, the strap is absolutely too short, unless I am the "Queen" The leather had a bad area in it too, like a big bump in it. This bag needs to go back to the tannery and put back on the drawing board. **** BRING BAG THE LITTLE FABRIC CROSS BODY FLAP BAG**** ! I will buy every color ! **** Prettly please, Peter?**** I have one, in Black and I have a tradition with that beloved little bag. I use it for each Christmas Church service, then loviningly pack it away. As for this bag I am rating, it does not pair up to my little "DB" fabric bag mentioned here.

The Best Small Bag
This was my first Florentine purchase and I am so happy. The leather really is amazing. I got the natural and it is just stunning. The size of the bag is perfect if you are looking for a smaller bag. However, I really am amazed that it holds so much. The magnetic snap pocket is perfect for keys and the zipper pocket is perfect for my phone. Inside. I have plenty of room for a small wallet, checkbook, lipstick, etc... The strap easily goes over my shoulder and stays there. The only thing that would have made the bag better would be if it stood up on its own. That is very minor to me. This bag is a keeper and sometimes you just need a small bag. Now that I know the quality of the Florentine leather I will purchase another one- looking at the Smith bag because sometimes you need a bag that will hold it all. Thanks Dooney and QVC.

Perfect Smaller Bag
I love carrying my Medium sized Dooneys for everyday, but there is always the occasion the comes up that you want a smaller handbag. This bag is perfect in every way. The strap fits comfortably over my shoulder and I love the front flap pocket for my cellphone and lipsticks etc. on the bag zip side. There is also plenty of room inside that I could fit my Dooney checkbook wallet, but when I carry this purse I prefer to use a small wallet instead. I purchased the natural on sale on the D&B website then got the black recently from QVC. I call it a small purse, but it really has enough room to be called a medium. LOVE!!!

Nice leather
I received this bag in natural. It is beautiful quality and size is perfect. However, the strap is a bit short. I got it on easy pay and realized that it was too much to spend on a cute little bag regardless of the name. If I saw this in a store, I probably would not have purchased it for the price.

Just like the Fendi Baguette....only better
I think this is the PERFECT smaller bag. I own a larger Florentine, which I also love, but I wanted a smaller bag for certain times. I had been looking at the Fendi Baguette - but they are way too pricey - and this one is nicer. There seems to be negative reviews about the strap length, but, to me, the style of this bag IS the shorter strap and how it fits neatly right under the arm! No complaints here!

DEAL BREAKER
For this price, the strap could and should have been longer and this bag could have been
the perfect crossbody bag.
It is small but roomy and the florentine leather is smooth, which gives this bag a different type of textured appeal.
But Dooney missed the opportunity to make the strap longer and now it is way to short.
For me, this could be a deal breaker.
It isn't here or there as they say.

Dreamer of this one
Finally I received in color black. The finish seems dull and while it holds a lot for a small bag it is a little on the heavy side. I found myself taking it off my shoulder and wearing it on my arm. In spite of those things it is a keeper. Love the style and size. Love the outside pockets, zip and snap.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I own many Dooney and Bourke bags but the Florentine leather is absolutely the best by far. I started out with the Florentine make-up bag and loved it! I was so excited when this bag went on three easy pays, I could not afford it at full price so soon after Christmas. I can't believe how big this clutch is. I can get the strap over my shoulder too, I am a plus size woman and most straps are too short. There is more room in this bag than ya think, I love the two outside pockets and the magnetic snap on the front pocket is really strong. I live in Ohio so this bag is going to get a lot of wear, I am contemplating just using this bag year round. I just want to thank QVC and Dooney and Bourke for bringing Florentine leather to QVC and giving us working girls easy pay.

This is not a sholder strap
The bag is truly lovely and well made. But is was marketed as having a shoulder strap. Without a coat on I can squeeze it under my arm, there is no way you can wearing a winter cost. It is a clutch or a bag you carry over your arm. It would be perfect if the strap was considerably longer. Back it goes, not worth the $238 I paid for my needs.

Almost Perfect...
This is an almost perfect smaller-side-of-medium bag. However I have a few small gripes: the key keeper is NOT leather. Cannot believe that at this cost they would cheap out on one more little strip of leather. So tacky, I wish they would have left it off altogether. Also wish the strap was an inch or two longer, does not fit over a coat on the shoulder. Last thing is personal preference but there is both green and red on the inside which to me screams Christmas and looks odd on something not christmas themed...Can't decide if I'm going to keep this or send it back. I do like it but for the cost you have to love it

PERFECT SIZE
Finally found a Dooney that is not too heavy and the perfect size and in Florentine leather. Wish the shoulder strap was a tad longer but ok as is, so am giving it 4 stars. I love this bag. Cannot wait to start using it.
