great messenger style but not for me
I got this in the hunter green with brown trims in the medium size. Perfect messenger-style bag. Great material: stain-proof, maintenance-free, and virtually indestructible. Durable and sturdy material on the outside as well as on the inside. I have to agree, though, with the reviewer who said it attracts pet hair. I have light-colored dogs and I keep a lint roller in my car anyway but it is quite a hassle for me to always have to use it on the bag and the strap before getting off the car. If you have light-colored pets, choose the tan or the yellow (maybe even the red) but don't get the dark-colored ones. If not for this reason, I would have kept the bag.

great travel bag
Took this bag on a two week trip to Europe earlier this year. It was small enough to easily pack into carry-on bag during flight but big enough for daily essentials. I don't travel with a full sized wallet....just a small leather card case for cards but easily packed camera; phone; kindle; itinerary; change purse; lip gloss; moleskin for my poor feet a bottle of water and whatever else I wanted. No prob with lint and strap comfy. Strap is sturdy enough that I didn't worry about someone cutting strap to steal bag. Love this bag and will use in future travel adventures! I have the black one.

Haven't used the bag yet. Plan to use it for my trip to Japan. It feels comfortable and just the right size for me to wear over the shoulder "hands-free".

What a cool bag!
I love this bag. Love the fabric and the size I do wish it had a specific place for our cells but I put mine in the front pocket under the flap. This is a great summer crossbody. It is so light and wipes off so easily. Not to mention the price. How cool is that?

Another D&B Winner!!!
This bag is as cute as it can be. I ordered the Navy and was so impressed when I got it. I did wish the lining would be of a lighter color since it is hard to find things inside it. Good thing I always carrying a small flashlight on my purses for such occassions and to see key holes as well. This is a small bag but it holds tons of items without looking over stuffed. The bag is extremely light weight before putting your items inside ladies. If it gets heavy you are putting too much in your purse. I love the strap on this bag as it clings to the shoulder and does not slide around. As far as lint I haven't had that happen yet but then again I mostly wear silk and nylon fabrics and these do not tend to be linty. Going back for the red one and maybe the yellow. Good price but will have to wait until it goes back on easy pay. That's the only way I can afford any D&B handbags.

Disappointed
This fabric attracts lint & pet hair like a magnet. And the interior is very dark, which makes it hard to find items. Too bad because I like the size, style & colors. The similar denim bag is much better.

As Described, BUT
the size was just too small for me. I only carry my essentials consisting of a wallet, small cosmetic bag, compact, eyeglass case and cell phone. But, it was stuffed. Would have liked for the back pocket to have a zipper for security. I am sure the flap closure would have become annoying with use and I did not feel it was secure. On the positive side, I loved the adjustable cross body strap, the cabriolet fabric and how it lay on the body. Too bad I had to send it back. This was to have been my first D & B bag.

You MUST go Crossbody, if you havent already!
This crossbody in particular, is wonderful, light weight, and has lots of room to stash the everyday needs. I find this size is perfect. I got the brown, which is a very dark brown, and goes with most everything. Crossbody and Messanger bags are so much more comfortable. You put it on, and forget about it. No more holding on to your bag for dear life when running around shopping, running errands, putting groceries in the trunk...no more last minute "where did I put my bag down" panic. These cabriolet bags are a good way to start, especially in the summer for vacation site seeing, but there are plenty of Dooney leather crossbody bags that are more formal. I love this bag. I love Dooney, and have since the very early 90's.

Cute
This bag is nicely made and organization and space are straightforward, typical of Dooney and Bourke. The cross body strap is easily adjusted and able to extend longer than many, which helps over heavy coats, etc. The leather detailing is perfectly done and the bag was exactly as described. For me, in my 30s, it did feel a bit youthful and like something I'd wear with a campfire uniform more than a day of shopping Downtown. So, I'm sending back, but only because it doesn't serve a good function for me. Otherwise, I would highly recommend quality, if the bag is what you want. I always find D&Bs non-leather products to be bette quality than their leather goods.

Good But Likes Lint
I got this one in the dark brown which is I liked but not this bag attacts lint and pet fur like crazy. Not what I wanted. Years ago I purchased a cabriolet tote bag and did not have this problem. Bring this style back with the real cabriolet material and I will purchase. Overall I like the size and it's function but not the lint.

Perfect size bag
I have bought three of these bags and LOVE them. The front flap is easy to slide up and down, front pockets hold my lipstick/cell phone and is light wight. It also keeps a slim profile against the body when wearing it cross body. My only request would be to find a black cabriolet with black leather trim - so cool for winter wear (I think the lighter trim is great for three seasons but would love solid colors for winter). Keep them coming!

somewhat disappointed
I like the bag but the photos show a tan colored leather trim. I ordered the black, which was also shown with tan leather trim. I loved that look. When I received the bag the trim was BLACK leather, which was not at all the look I wanted. There is also really nowhere to put lipstick, etc. inside. I will keep the bag because it is good enough for my purposes, but really not what I expected.
