Don Aslett's Set of 3 Multi-purpose Rubber Brooms with Hand Brush is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you have pets, you NEED these! The rubber bristles on the brushes are the BEST for picking up pet hair from rugs and furniture when you don't want to get your big-or even your smaller- vacuum, out! I used to use my sneaker bottom to brush up the long Eskie and Sheltie hair from my new rug every morning, but now I host use my rubber broom! The little hand brush is terrific for the furniture too! You've got to get these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective overall but has a broom handle problem As many other reviewers have stated, one of the two broom handles in the set will not loosen the grip to allow it to extend. The other fully extends and retracts without resistance or slippage. The handheld brush works well and cleans with a simple rinse (or sudsing and rinse, depending on its exposure to oil grime). I started with the hardest test: an older plush carpet with years of long-haired cats' and many dogs' and cats' embedded fur and hair which remained after commercial cleaning. After thoroughly vacuuming, I used both the broom and the hand brush on a heavily trafficked area. It was extremely labor intensive, and still I had visible fur remaining. So in that regard, don't expect miracles. However, I also took the brooms out for test drives in cleaning the dust, sand, dirt and leaf fragments in the garage, and it did an excellent, thorough and efficient job. I cleaned up excess ice melt pellets from the brick walk - again - A+. No residue and no re-sweeping to chase after errant pellets - there weren't any. Then on to the kitchen - it got into corners, picked up hairballs from under the appliances in very tight quarters, and again, it didn't streak or miss particulates on a finished hardwood floor. I swept the tile foyer and bathrooms with the same excellent results. I extended the handle to its max, and I was able to reach (I'm 5'4") the top of a window that is 11 feet high without losing balance or needing a ladder. Overall, I give this product a very good rating in it's effectiveness. However, QVC and Don Aslett need to check on the common problem with the handles failing to correctly extend and retract, and they should replace those which fail without requiring either a shipping return fee or a return of the defective handle at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These brooms are not easy to use Now I see why they used a man during the presentation. With a little work you can use it but it will be a workout and they do pick up pet hair but it's not easy as it looks. After doing the carpets in my family room, I felt like I had been doing an ab workout. Even on smaller carpets with the small strokes it wasn't easy. The only thing that was easy to do with these brooms is get snow off the walkway, cars and clean windows. For someone with shoulder issues this is not the broom for you. The handle on the small one broke after a couple of uses. Now we use it as a hand brush. Put a sturdier handle on the small one please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep finding new uses Sometimes in the winter icicles interfere with satellite dish reception. I use this rubber broom to tap off the icicles or snow and TV reception is back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's good I give it 3 stars... one of our brooms does not adjust. I'm sure it was a defect. I emailed costumer service , told me to send the whole set back, but by that time every paper and boxwas thrown out. (Myfault). Oh well i saw the set on today i could use it for outdoor cleanning. I guess I'm upset about set being a defect, and realizing I never sent it back by the 10 days costumer service told me. I do love the hand held small one for steps I give that a ***** 5 stars!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Annoyed! I like one of the other reviewers had the handle on the small brush snap in half the first time I used it. Also the handle on one of the regular sized brooms won't stay locked. Don't think it's user error because the other one is fine. Seem to do an OK job on floors. Keeping them because it's not worth the hassle or and expense to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like I really really like these BUT one of them is stuck and will not pull out, I am waiting for my male neighbor to get home to see if he can get it unstuck. I hope so, I dont want to send them back. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the one wont pull out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay The brooms are nice and do pretty much what is advertised, however, the handle on the small brush snapped in two with the first use. "
