Don Aslett's Set of 2 Rubber Brooms w/Telescoping Poles
not so much
It broke the first time I used it-----good idea I guess-----had to return them,
Excellent for Cat Hair!
I've never had a rubber broom before, I was pleased with these for cat hair on furniture. I unscrew the handle and go over the furniture. I have read reviews and gotten lots of ideas what else to use these for. Love that you get two. I have one upstairs and one downstairs. Don't hesitate if you have pets.
It made this past winter snow revoval bearable.
I have the original set of these and I hadn't really used them until this past winter. IT DOES AN AWESOME JOB REMOVING SNOW! I used it to sweep away the light snow and after I've shoveled to get anything snow that was left behind. I also use it on my large SUV and car. Thank you Don!
They are easy to use & really get the dirt & dog hair. My dog sheds a lot... and this makes it so fast & easy to clean it up. I love it. Also good for my garage. That's why I have four of them. I only vacuum once a week now... it even works on my area rug ... pulls the dog hair right up.
BEST SNOW REMOVER EVER!!!
I have to admit I have not used it to sweep. When I saw the demonstration and they mentioned snow removal I thought I would give it a try. My husband has a truck and I have an SUV and this broom is fantastic for reaching the high parts of the vehicles but I use it on the entire vehicle. The reason for only four stars is because the handle comes lose so my husband put screws in the pole to keep this from happening. We couldn't think of a reason we would want to change the height of the pole.
Gave one to my son. We both like the idea of the broom, and use it on concrete surfaces, i.e. garage, driveway, etc. The head of the broom comes loose easily. Thought of super gluing it ... may do that..
This was perfect for what I needed it for--cleaning the garage. It is also great to clean up broken glass, wet spills. Great product!
DIFFERENT, BUT EXCELLENT!
I AM A NEW FAN OF RUBBER BROOMS THANKS TO THIS ITEM. I HAD NEVER USED A RUBBER BROOM BEFORE, BUT THE ITEM SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA. IT IS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER THAN MY OLD BROOM, AND I USE TO QUITE EFFECTIVELY FOR REMOVING CAT HAIR FROM MY CARPET. I HAVE A LARGE LONG HAIRED CAT, AND I STRUGGLE WITH KEEPING THE HAIR UNDER CONTROL. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS CERTAINLY LIGHT WEIGHT, AND DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB. IT WAS MY FIRST RUBBER BROOM BUT IT WON'T BE MY LAST. I HAD PLANNED TO SHARE THE OTHER ONE WITH MY DAUGHTER, BUT DECIDED TO KEEP THEM BOTH. SHAME ON ME! I LOVED IT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS WHO MAY BE ON THE FENCE ABOUT BUYING IT.
LOVE LOVE LOVE These Brooms!!!
I just got mine yesterday. I've been sweeping like a mad man. My covered front porch and walkway haven't been cleaner. It works amazing on ceramic tile kitchen and bathroom floors, gets in the corners perfectly. It works amazing on wood floors. So much better than a regular broom!!
A great multipurpose tool
I bought these last year to use on our patio cement and it works good. This winter I used it to sweep light snow off the porch and sidewalk. Again, it works good. My husband decided to use it to push snow off the car and now he loves it. I gave it a try on my car and my sister in laws car and we both love it too. She said she is deffinatley going to get herself a set. It works so much better than most other snow scrapers.
I use a similar hand-held product to shed out my horse and cats and have been seen sitting on the carpets using it there.
No more !! These arrived today and after 10 minutes you'd never know I own a black cat or longhaired, wet, black and white Lhasapoo puppy. I just might glue the brush threads to the handle tho......
I was on the fence about this one, but went to the vet and they were using them there. The floor was white and I didn't see any dirt, but when the girl started sweeping I was surprised to see the amount of dirt and pet hair she was picking up and I could't see before. I went home and ordered me a set. I have an English Mastiff that sheds a lot so I did the test and sure enough. I used them after the vacum and I still picked up hair...specially from the carpet. The secret is to practice and master the technique. Take your time and you will be amazed with the results.
