This stone is far too large to be believable. I think part of the problem is the cut of the stone. I sent it back.

After watching the video presentation of this ring, I couldn't wait to order and receive it. Of course, my size 7 was sold out in the white gold so I decided to get the size 8 and have it sized since it was gold and could be sized unlike the plated pieces.
The ring arrived and it was beautiful. Then the fun started. ... I took it to a large box jewelry store who was going to resize it until I told them that the stones were simulated. I was told that the ring could not be resized if the stones were not real because the heat applied to the band could damage the setting. I took it to another popular jewelry store who didn't want to be liable either. Finally, I brought it to a smaller jeweler in town who resized it no problem but warned that the metal could look slightly different after the resizing process. He explained that they often 're-dip' rings after resizing them to return the metal to its original shine. I didn't opt for that because I figured that if the metal were to look a little less shiny where it was cut, at the underside of the ring, who would even notice it? Well, one week after wearing it, the entire thing is now yellow gold! So, after spending almost $230 for the ring and another $35 to size it, if I want the ring to be white gold, I've got to spend another $40 to have it re-dipped. My advice? Admire the picture and then listen to your inner self who says, 'that's too expensive for a simulated ring! !!!' Ridiculous.

I am very familiar with the Asscher cut, and this stone is well cut, showing depth and sparkle. If you have not seen this type of cut, you might think it resembles a piece of glass. If it was a real diamond, it would look the same as this ring. Very different from the brilliant cut that people are used to. This ring is dainty looking, and I really like it. Got it in the yellow gold, shows the stone off nicely.
Kudos to Lorraine who works at QVC who helped me a lot!

I love this ring! It looks VERY realistic. I got the white gold, so as to match my wedding band. I really hope my jeweler can cut it down a tiny bit. I ordered the 6, but I'm really a 5 5/8. So when my hands swell, and sometimes they do, it's a perfect 6. It's the perfect height even in rubber gloves in the ER. My engagement ring is too tall for wearing to work (and dangerous), but this is perfect. I hope hope hope the jeweler can cut it down. If not, I'll wear it anyway!

At first I was thrilled but after wearing it several times, I have to say, the thrill is gone. The band is soooo thin for such a big stone. I had a manicure while wearing it and the girl complimented my real diamond ring and didn't even mention this 'rock.' I suddenly felt a bit like an imposter. I finally sent it back and told my husband I did. Only then did he admit to me that he thought it looked like it came out of a gumball machine. Wish he had said something sooner. Anyway, it's on its way back and I'm glad for it.
