Rated 3 out of 5 by Mmac I want to love it but
It's just not as wonderful as it could be! The stone is nice enough but the bale is so small. The chain is horribly thin I wouldn't trust it at all. So I attempted to use a beautiful 14kt yellow rope excellent chain. The bale is only accepting of a very thin chain. So disappointed. The size of the stone certainly would benefit from a more substainal chain. Even if I must provide it to keep the cost of the stone at its present cost. I would be happy to. But the design does not allow room for improvement. As it is the stone seems to tilt-lean sideways continuously. It would much more believable if such a large stone was able to be on a better quality chain. A larger bale would solve this problem. It may be going back to QVC. Room for some improvement.

OMG, I had a smaller one, lost it when chain broke...this is 3 times the one I lost. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting sparkles around their neck.

...This does not seem like the same quality I remember from diamonique in years gone by. I had a similar pendant for many years and lost it. This one just does not seem believable to me. I returned it and am trying a smaller design. I do really like the 14K gold setting.
Rated 2 out of 5 by cc2020 Nice but cheap chain
I love Diamonique and this one is beautiful but the chain is tissue paper thin and totally worthless. The closure is so small I had to use a magnifying glass to open and close it. Plus it easily gets tangled and knotted. I am keeping it because of the diamonique and using it with another thicker chain. I think for the price they should have done a better chain or lowered the price and not include the worthless chain. QVC please improve this!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anela828 In love with this solitaire!
I have always wanted a real solitaire diamond necklace, but with how rough I tend to be on my jewelry I don't find it realistic to have my husband buy me a huge diamond necklace or earrings that I could lose, when I would rather have a huge diamond ring. You can really see the 100 facets in the stone, when clean it sparkles flawlessly.
I read about the other smaller sizes, 1 and 2 ct necklaces, having issues about the diamond facing sideways constantly. I wanted to reassure anyone contemplating this necklace that it is worth it, especially with the easy pay option. The 3ct diamond stays facing forward like it should, I think because of the heavier weight, it sits properly on the collar bone. The gold chain appears very dainty but the way the chains are linked in a well made manner, and I have never come close to risking a break. I clean my jewelry every few days because sparkle in my jewelry just makes me happy, however I could clean this necklace once a week if I want. Also because of the huge open gold backing, cleaning the back, sides and front of the stone are easy!
I have a friend who was getting rid of estate items from her mother and there was a identical gold 3ct diamond necklace just like this in her pile. The real gold adds dainty feminine flair and the stone size believability depends on your lifestyle and existing jewelry. I wear it everyday and love it, it goes with casual clothing and can be dressed up. Don't hesitate on this piece so you won't freak out if you lose it (vs. losing $10,000 as an example). I put "me" as a person this would make a gift for, because I feel it is a more suited gift for ones self.
