THE BEST!!
Honestly, this is the best cake I have ever eaten...just hope that we will be able to purchase another! I read some of the single star ratings, and found none of them appropriate for me and my seven dinner guests.

Disappointed
This cake had no lemon taste whatsoever. i was very disappointed since lemon cakes are one off my favorites. No worth the money

VERY DISAPPOINTING
The only thing that was good about this cake was that it looked pretty. I did not taste any lemon. The icing and strawberry jam were just ok. The cake was dry, tough textured and flavorless.

fabuous cake
I served this cake this weekend to celebrate a couple of birthdays. This was an overall hit to the max. Everyone loved it - even my picky father in law. Just the right amount of sweetness.
I will order this one again

Lemon or Strawberry?????????
I ordered this cake because I am very fond of lemon cakes or anything that contains lemons. This cake was ordered based on the fresh ingredients and decriptions that were mentioned on your program. Upon receiving my cake and cutting into the layers, I was disappointed to notice that the slices were thinner, the cake was very dense and dry to the taste. Also, there was not taste of lemons in the cake as mentioned, because the strawberry filling overpowered the overall taste of the cake. The only faint taste of lemon that I got was in the cream cheese, which I end up eating and discarding the cake.

Not worth the money or taste
I was very disappointed in this cake. It was stale, dry and tasted like a cardboard box. The frosting was all broken up when I opened it. It wasn't pretty either. I thought it would be so good and I was so disappointed. We had 3 pieces and threw it out. I was embarassed to use it for a special occasion. I should of made my own. Then I would know it would be fresh and look nice.Plus making my own would of been a lot cheaper.

Delicious!
This was my first purchase from QVC and I was thrilled with what I received. The cake received had plenty of dry ice and southern lemon cake is definitely one of the best cakes I have ever tried! The cake was moist, the flavor was a perfect blend with just the right amount of lemon flavor and the filling and icing were sooo yummy! I would definitely order again from Desserts by Dana especially with Mother's Day, Easter and Graduations coming up!!

Bland...not much flavor
The only flavorful part of the cake is the jam...which in some parts was very chewy. In order to not be so dry, it helps to microwave it for 10 seconds....I don't recommend this cake..frosting not as described. Can't return, or I would have....

Just a Wonderful Dessert
The dessert we purchased from DessertsbyDana on QVC was just delicious. The presentation and the taste of the Southern Lemon Cake was everything we could have wanted in a cake. The cake was moist, delicious in taste, just the right amount of sweetness and great in texture. We shared the cake with family immediately and there was not any left for us to enjoy later. Kudos to Chef Dana and we look forward to other wonderful offerings from his desserts line. Thank you Dana for an absolutely wonderful product.

Delicious!
This was my first time ordering a dessert online from QVC, and I must say that this cake was delicious! I placed the order on Sunday, and it was on my doorstep by Tuesday afternoon. Unlike the previous poster, my cake was frozen and there was plenty of dry ice left in the package. That being said, not only did this cake have a wonderful flavor, but it was super MOIST!! There was just the right balance of lemon, strawberry, and cream cheese frosting. This cake definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.
