Cute coat but pay attention to the style...
This is a really cute coat. I was hoping it would work because I love a trench and the animal print gives it a little modern twist. I have no problems with quality or material, but if you are considering this coat, take into consideration that it is BILLOWY on the bottom. Not quite peplum, but definitely not a straight cut. I would have kept this coat if I could pull off that look, but I am a little heavy in the hips so it wasn't really flattering on me. Don't rule it out though if you are looking for a fuller cut - the material and pattern are worth the price if you aren't looking for a straight-cut trench.

I bought this originally in a S I am a size 8, but once I tried it on, it was just too big, like others are saying it looked like it had too much fabric, so I traded it for an XS and the fit is perfect. I would size down on this one unless you wear thick clothing underneath your jackets!

Not For Me
I am a size 18. This jacket is not flattering for the fuller figured woman. Sending it back.

Way too much material in the skirt
Nice material but the style was very unflattering -- way too much material in the skirt. Because of the gathering It stuck out almost like a hoop skirt.

F is for FABULOUS
ordered a size smaller than i usually wear and it is PERFECTION...very flattering and glamorous at the same time....got grey and just LOVE everything about it...the belt is pretty long, but i tie it and it is just the coolest chic jacket...LET IT RAIN BABY ! xo

LOVED the coat but was WAY too big
Love the coat and material. Beautifully made. Size is very large and too full for a short person. Please remake this in a slimmer raincoat. Workmanship and material top notch!

Too Darn Cute!
I love this jacket, it's so cute! I can hardly wait for it to rain!
The bottom of the jacket is a little fuller than it appears on line or on tv, but I still think it will make a big statement. I know all of my friends will just love it!
Dennis Basso does a fantastic job, I love everything he designs! Second purchase that I've made, but I'm sure it won't be the last!

Lovely coat but not for me
PROS:
quality construction
washable
muted grey animal print is beautiful
covers my rear end
fits my curvy 3X body
CONS:
pleating at waist makes me look pregnant
waist is a cut a little higher than my natural waist - I'm 5'8"
epaulets on shoulder gave me football shoulders
All in all, was a GREAT coat for a smaller woman - would highly recommend for that woman.

Fabulous Jacket - Do It Again !
Love this jacket. It is absolutely striking on and is wearable rain or shine. My only regret is that I ordered a Small rather than Xtra-Small. I was going to keep the S and still order the X-S but they are Sold Out. Please, Mr. Basso, do this one again.

Jacket is well made. The fit is true to size. The jacket is very fashionable and keeps you warm and dry in rainy weather.

Way too full
The bottom part of this jacket is extremely full. It would be cute as long as I wore it with tights and boots. I was looking for something more versatile. I returned it immediately.

Very nice
This jacket is nicely fitted, and the print is beautiful. The belt is ridiculously long- I am going to cut and hen the end. The other thing that bothers me is that the belt loops are loops of string - one on each side.
So, I could make belt loops out of the belt that is too long, or I can send it back and find a trench with real belt loops.
I love the trench, I am not happy with the belt and belt loops.
