I've had the black (with silver turnkey buttons) in xxs for a few years as my go to jacket and absolutely love it. Great fit, great look. Decided to pick up the tan with gold turnkey buttons. It arrived very well packaged with protective tissue covering each turnkey but to my surprise when I removed the tissue, the gold has corroded on each turnkey. Looks like cheap gold costume jewelry that turns dark gray and green. Its not chipped off but discolored. Too bad, back it goes :(

I got the blue. A little tight, but sucks in my waist. I love the neckline, and can't wait to pair it with the right scarf.

I don't have any suede jackets so thought this would be fun to have. The green is gorgeous. It is a heavy jacket. I always get xxs in DB and this one fits snug unlike all his other coats I own. I'm not busty but I cant wear it closed. Exchanging it for the xs.

Just received my first of two of these jackets; the Teal-turquoise color is wonderful, the jacket fits to a "T", can't wait to get the Toffee one too; which is on back-order. I love and have MANY Dennis Basso jackets! I especially like the way they are packaged; on a D.B. hanger with tissues/plastic wrapped around them and a piece of cardboard to help keep them from getting too wrinkled. Keep up the GREAT work/quality Dennis...I'm a customer for life *S*

I own this jacket in black. It is just beautiful and so soft and supple. I wear it to church or shopping because of its versatility. There is absolutely no stiffness to it causing
no issues while driving. I own several of Dennis Basso's coats and every one of them are top quality.

This is my first turnkey since I was a teenager. I am now 72. Just love it. I got the blue. It is a beautiful color. I am petite 5 feet tall with narrow shoulders. Fits me perfectly because I can roll back the sleeves and it looks really nice that way. Shoulder seams are at the right place. Pockets are deep enough. I can not stand shallow pockets that not even my cell phone fits.

Just received this jacket today. Debated whether I shd stay w my size or size up based on reviews. I wear a 4-6 in ref retail and most Qvc brands. I think it s a personal preference on how you d like something to fit. The small that I ordered is very true to size. Although, it fits more like a blazer than a coat. It s very flattering. I wouldn't say it s snug it this fit doesn't allow you to layer. (And I don't intend to since it s a spring coat and not a winter coat). I figured if you re really cold, then maybe you shd wear a puffer or a fur coat). I prefer petite sizes since I'm under 5'4 but because of the split cuffs on this one, turning the sleeves up is actually stylish. So, if you want a nice tailored fit( not snug but can't layer) stay with your regular size. But if you want more wiggle room, go up one size. (I'm just not sure how the shoulders and arms would fit. Hope this helps

With a 39" chest, I bought a small in toffee for the versatility of the color. Though I carry all my extra weight around my middle and in my upper arms, the jacket fits nicely. it's not tight across the back, and I'm able to close it all the way up, which I couldn't do with a small in Basso's front-zipper jacket. Though the turnkey hardware is attractive, t's not the easiest to operate...would prefer snaps or buttons, I guess. As usual, the sleeves are too long...don't know why these designers think women have such long arms or that our arm length increases as we go up in size...duh! But, though the photo shows the sleeves down, there is enough suede fabric on the underside to turn them up. Notice the slit? That gives the turned-up sleeve a nice sort of french cuff-type look, as if it's supposed to be turned up. Jacket also has a bit of warmth to it, so it should make a nice cover for winter evenings in the south and southwest. Polyester lining can be too suffocating, but this one didn't seem too troublesome. So far, I've only tried it on, but poly usually creates so much heat that one feels it right away, which I didn't with this jacket. Maybe the coolness of the "leather" provides a balance to the effect of the poly lining. Also, it didn't seem boxy on my 5'4" small-boned frame. Expect to enjoy the jacket and may go back for Indigo or Emerald. Now, if the QVC tech dept. would stop the software from eliminating the second space after each period that MUST be there, all would be perfect.
