Perfect For Me.
I wear a size 18 regular. This XL size was perfect, not too deep in the arm hole . Everyone goes crazy over it when I wear it, and want to pet it. Very, very soft. Shoulders are not too padded. Just right. It is even warm. My first faux fur from Dennis, from maybe 18 years ago, was not warm at all, so I am happy with the new one, and I got it in black. If you have a belly, this will cover it. Love it!

Hmmm
I was so excited to receive the white version of this coat. The fur wasn't his softest, but still plenty plush. It looked adorable on Amy...but everything always does!! But!!! with my snow white hair, my husband and I both started laughing...I felt and looked like Cruella Deville. Went back the next day. Someone besides me will love it!

Its Not Me
Anticipated the arrival of the white version of this unique winter statement short jacket. It was stunning on model Jackie and petite host. The lining is fit for a princess. However, the collar near throat was matted down, felt stiff and dry as cotton candy. I know I'd be unhappy dealing with the collar. The flap wing closures, not easy for gals with short or fashion nails. Arm holes adequate, body was boxy on me. I lost weight, ordered Medium for small frame, 5.5". Dennis is King of Coats, but this one just wasn't for me. I own about 7.

Run to get this jacket
I first got this jacket in black and returned it and exchanged for the white , it is adorable and gorgeous , i ordered the Xsm , I am 5ft one inch and length is perfect , the sleeves are a little long but I tuck a part inside and this works , I have six Dennis Basso coats and all are just wonderful , This one is different and will attract attention , the fur is quite luxurious ! This will be fun to wear ,

Too big in shoulders
I love Dennis Basso coats. I own many of them. Had to send this back because although the style is really great the shoulder pads are way to bulky. I like a bit of a shoulder pad in my coats but unfortunately this was overdone. All you saw was shoulders. Missing out on the real beauty of the coat. Dennis please design a simpe ivory fur jacket not one that only comes to the waist but perhaps a little past the hips with a hood that is not so huge you can’t see where you are going and a zipper or buttons that disappear. We older ladies are having a hard time with those fur clasps. Make it in your platinum collection and I will pay the extra cost as those seem to be your best. Your most recent design in the chevron with the sequins was close but the sequins I believed took away from the design. A little extra fur on edge of hood and sleeves would be nice. Think forties style. Best ever.

Great and affordable coat
Wasn't too sure about purchasing, but when the coat arrived I am so glad I did. Luxury at an affordable price. Dennis Basso out did himself on this coat. Bring on the cold weather, I'm so ready!

What a Disappointment
What happened, Dennis? I have nine Dennis Basso winter coats that I am so proud to wear and still get compliments on them over the past years. What is offered now from Dennis on the Q is not even close to the quality and fit and specialty that it was, just a few years ago. The last coat that I had to return for fit and quality is when I said I will never purchase a Basso coat again. I tried one more time hoping that he or his manufacturers would have taken the poor reviews seriously and by now have done something to improve the situation. Well, not so. This coat is going back. The fit is absolutely not as refined as it used to be, nor is it of the same high quality of his previous product; not to mention the inconvenience and cost of having to send it back !! That is not fair to the consumer. What is it going to take to have someone listen to the reviews, and do something about bringing back the perfection that once was??

Perfect!
Read the reviews, liked it well enough from looking, to see it for myself. I do not understand the issues mentioned. The fit is good, the quality of the faux fur is very nice and soft, the hooks easily open and close, it is light weight, flexible, lovely lining and interior pockets. In short, exactly what you would ask for. I think it is perfect for me. A fun coat that I am going to enjoy for years. Mr. Basso, well done!.
