Needs to be tailored just a bit in the waist and narrow out the skirt.
BUT, for the cost it is a steal.

Sizing seems off
Bought this in the purple and the color is gorgeous. Love the patten trim as it gives the dress a modern look. The material is also nice and substantial.
I ordered this in the medium and it was HUGE so I exchanged it for the small which I thought would work. Sadly it didn't. The small was not flattering at all.
I am sad to send this back as this is a nice dress. It just didn't work for me.

I have this dress in both colors.. They are both great.. I wore the purple to a fall wedding and got several complements... It's a very classic, understated dress. I love it!

LOVE this dress!!!
I admit, I'm a sucker for colorblock anything, especially black and white. i ordered this dress in small and it fit perfectly. The fit is large, as i normally fit a medium in most dresses because my upper arms are muscular and too large for most small dresses. i'm grateful to Dennis Basso for making this dress to fit a muscular body. I wore it with black tights and black boots to church today and got TONS of compliments. This 47-year-old felt like she was 20 years younger. LOVE LOVE this dress ;-)

Beautiful Dress In Purple/Gray Color!
Checking the click here measurements, I sized down to an XS instead of the Small. The dress fit properly through the bust and shoulders in this size. Sadly, the area below my belly button- it emphasized that area.Even a half slip didn't hide it well!! The hip region was fine. If the dress had been more A line, I would have kept this dress. The sleeves would have needed shortening by about an inch in the XS size. The material is lovely and I liked the faux patent trim on the dress. If you have the figure for this-- no post baby weight-- then this dress is for you.
I really liked this dress, unfortunately, it didn't like me. :(

Fabulous Mod Dress!
Thanks Mr. Basso for this perfect dress for me!!! Brings me back to the Mod era and puts a smile on my face. Love the combo black/white, fabric, fit and design. I know I'm in XS in your clothing line so I never have a size issue. The fit is perfect for me!
Please continue to bring your dresses , tops and sweaters to us! Oh, I own quite a few of your coats also;)

I'm sad I missed out on the black and white dress. Ordered the purple and gray dress and i like it. Very fashionable and for the price, it's well worth it. Dennis please bring back more..

no shape
I ordered this in a small, as do all the dresses for 6-8 sizing. This dress was way to big and had no shape. Looked much better on the models. THey must have been pinned back to give shape. Looked like a oversize sack on me.

Brilliant
This is a 5 star review for sure. Brilliant colors (I got the purple) and fit. Dennis Basso is the best. I wish it were available for petites. I'm 5'2" and it's a bit long on me, but it's so nicely made and fits so well, it's not a bother for me to get it hemmed...otherwise it would have gotten a 10 star review!

Love these dresses
I purchased both options in this dress and love them both. The material feels soft and the zipper back makes it easy to take on and off . I'm only 4'11" and the length is perfect for me..below the knee but not too long at all. The style of the dress is so different and not seen elsewhere. Dennis you did a fantastic job with this dress.

Fabulous
This dress is terrific. I'm only sorry it's already sold out in my size and color. I purchased the purple dress and wore it during a presentation yesterday. I had compliments all day. I'm a 1X and 5'8 it's a great length and such a smart design. PLEASE bring this back in other colors.

Love it!
Got this in the mail yesterday and I absolutely love it! I got the black and white. Went back to get the purple and there is none! Please bring this dress back in the purple. Classy dress, can't wait to wear it. I have a closet full of Dennis Basso coats and love them all. Thanks Dennis for your fashion sense, I have a coat for every outfit and now fashion clothes too.........
