Dennis Basso 20" Talking Santa Claus w/ Faux Fur Trim is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A beautiful addition to my Santa collection Unlike the previous reviewer, I happen to like that the voice is actually Dennis Basso. I got the red/leopard choice and he's a nice compliment to the slightly smaller Dennis Basso Santa dressed in leopard/burgundy attire that I also bought a couple of seasons ago. I now have the pair standing on top of my piano and they look great together there. I only gave 4 stars because the presentation doesn't make it very clear just exactly how he works. There is a small battery pack hidden on the inside of his coat in the back. It takes 3-AA batteries to operate him and the switch then has to be turned to the "on" position. There is a depression mechanism on the inside of his right hand coat cuff that you press to activate the flashing lights on his Santa bag and to make him talk and sing. The lights only light and flash during his greeting and song and then it all turns off again. Jill and Dennis seem to be fumbling a bit in the presentation and didn't make it too clear just exactly how he works, so hope this review helps to clarify things for someone else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Handsome Santa This Santa is very good looking and dressed to the nines but I am not sure about his talking. It is not really explained in the description and when I put batteries in it only said one saying??? Is that all there is???? Does he talk with motion??? Is it more that just one saying?? Sure would be nice if it was explained. QVC, you dropped the ball on this one! I for one am disappointed with that fact. I will keep him because he is nice looking, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful European Santa He is so beautiful! Well made, I just can't get over the workmanship on this Santa. His cranberry and leopard outfit is so unusual and striking, you won't miss him in my sea of holiday décor. I am very thankful that there was bubble wrap around his face, since UPS decided to play football with my box before it was delivered. The belt was torn off because of this, but I was able to glue it back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red Hot Leopard Love, love, love my Santa in this smokin' hot red leopard. At 20" this is a big Santa, and he is beautiful. Of course, I have him out already and singing evertytime I come into the room. I love Dennis Basso's voice, and he makes such beautiful things. This Santa is no exception. All I had to do was add batteries, fluff his hat, and poof, he's all mine. What a Christmas this is going to be. Thank you, Dennis.
