I love this item. It has gotten cold in upstate NY & my walk to work is no problem with this warm jacket. I bought it a size larger so I could layer a sweater underneath it. First time I wore it I was complimented on it. Money well spent on this one.

The sleeves were too big and long, but if I were to size down the body part would be too snug. The faux leather band hit me at my widest part of my hips so it was anti-slenderizing. The wine color was nice, but that's about all I liked about this jacket.

I bought the wine color - beautiful. I'm a XL and the jacket is a little snug. I thought it would be a lighter jacket but it's more like a coat, which is not bad for us New Yorkers. I agree with some of the other reviews it's a bit boxy and tighter at the bottom, but not enough for me to return. It's a good value.

Boxy, bulky, ugly, too snug in the hips, too long in the sleeves, straight up and down. Not good for 5'3" me. Jacket more like winter coat. Heavier than expected. Better for tall persons with no curves.

Ordered black large (normal DC size).......the neckline was big and sleeves too long. Looked bulky when closed which needs to be 2-way zipper.

I agree with another reviewer who said the styling was surprisingly good on this jacket. I ordered the black and was pleasantly surprised how well I do like it, considering that some improvements definitely should be made for this price point and for me to give it a 5-star rating. The faux leather is well-placed and adds a really appealing accent. I have long arms and am pleased with the sleeve length on this jacket, since too often I find D&C skimps on sleeve length, especially in shirts. My suggested improvements: 1) Add an inch or so in the chest measurement to make it more comfortable when zipped. It fits snugly. 2) Make the pockets deeper; they're too shallow to hold my gloves. 3) A stand-up collar would add many style points. As it is, the no-collar neckline is too wide. I'll likely wear a turtle-neck or mock-neck sweater or a collared shirt under it, but this neckline cheapens the styling. It looks like the designer just quit on the design. 4 ) For what it is, the jacket is over-priced. All in all, however, I do like the jacket well enough to keep and happily wear it. With some alterations, I'd buy 2 or 3 colors.

On the show this looked like a sweatshirt type jacket, but it's a pretty heavy coat. I'd never wear indoors. In a 3X, it was pretty heavy in weight, and I just have other coats. I was looking for something lighter weight. The styling was surprisingly good even in this 3X, but I think the smaller ladies will like it more with all the contrasting faux leather trim forming horizontal lines, esp. in the camel which I got. For this heavy of a casual coat, I would have preferred a hood and collar. Well made, tho. I'm returning.

If I was taller and thinner this might have looked nice. I'm
not had too return. Not for me.
