Rated 5 out of 5 by Psalm Great Warm Coat
I have D&C outerwear in both medium & large. Since the fit was described as relaxed, I ordered medium and it fits great. I am very happy about the sleeves being made to turn back. Sleeves are always too long on me - this way I don't have the expense of alteration. I just turn them back & they stay that way. The coat is very cozy & warm. This coat seems to morph from casual to dressy depending on how you style it. Great!

Like the style of this coat, but the cut is strange. Iordered a medium, and although it fits, it does not hang well. I actually have small hips and a broad back, so I need the extra in the back and chest. This fit the opposite, the coat was snug through the hips and was fine throughthe bust. To bad. It is a nice coat, but it has to go back. That is the problem with buying clothing without having a chance to try it on.

I'm not a regular Denim & Co customer, the brand being a little casual for me usually, but this coat is a classic. I looked everywhere, I'm a shopper so I mean everywhere, and you will not find a coat comparable to this in Camel for under $500. Since I have many coats and just wanted this one to fill in a void in my closet, I didn't want to invest a ton of money and I was not disappointed with this coat. I am in between sizes so I sized down to a Medium and it's a perfect fit. Anyone on the fence should not hesitate. I would somewhat disagree with another reviewer saying it isn't a winter coat. Except that it isn't a parka or practical in a blizzard, at least here in western Pa, and we get some bitter cold, it's going to be alright. It's been on my favorites list for a year while I looked around and now getting it at the sale price was the cherry on the cake!

I own both colors of this coat. I just love them; the style, texture and fit are spot on. Clearance price is a bonus. Highly recommend this coat. Runs a bit large, but I like that style, and can easily fit a sweater underneath.

I rec'd this coat two wks ago. I could have sized down to a medium; however, I choose the large. The coat is a keeper and looks soooo great, stylist, and fashionable. I purchased the tan. It's a coat that will never go out of style. The texture and length is prefect too. I can see this coat with a black Dooney cross body and 3/4 length soft black leather gloves Awesome!!!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Amsterdam Coat was worn already and had dog hair on it
I purchased this coat in both colors. The Black coat had to be returned since it was already worn, covered with dog hair and was missing the extra button.

Unique material but more like a spring coat - no warmth - very thin! Most seem to like style as I do but no one seems to notice not a Coat to keep you warm in northern Illinois!
Think I will keep because it will fit over a suit jacket. Sorry I believed in the reviews.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Madison Wisconsin Very stylish, very nice coat
Fits well , might run a little big, but easier to wear a jacket or bulky sweater under. Nice quality.

Ordered this coat it is of great quality and very warm. I was so disappointed the black sold out, but pleasantly surprised when it was restocked and ordered it in black also. Thank you, QVC

I think the coat is very nice, not too big or too tight. It is comfortable, adequately warm (not for freezing NY weather), and the mustard is definitely a golden mustard color. However, I am a size 2X, and the coat makes my stomach area ( side view) look larger than it is. Possibly because of the bulkiness of the fabric or the cut, it is not exactly streamlined. I really like the coat, and long scarves will help to conceal the larger mid section look . It looks great from the front, and it looks pretty good in the back. I should be receiving the black one in a day or two, and I hope there is not much difference, although a little more room would be great. I would not go up in size because it would simply be too big and slouchy looking.

I have always appreciated the designs and quality of coats by Denim and Co. and I have enjoyed several of them over the years. This one, I must say, is even beyond all of their other outerwear. It's fabric is rich and warm and because of the texture, lent doesn't seem to cling as with most wool. It has a nice weight, and the turn back cuffs are very stylish. It leans a little toward the vintage look, which I love. If I can some day, I will also order this coat in the tan.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Mirren Guess I got a bad one...
I do not understand the raves for this coat. First, I've seen a finer boucle for a tiny bit more (I can't say where or the Q won't publish this review). Next, the cut / sizing is way off. I'm a plus size - typically wear 18/20 or XL/1X at about 5'7". I got an XL, despite a review that said it runs small. Well, mine ran large. Swimming in shoulders and at the neckline, really baggy at the waist. The only place it 'fit' was in the hips, and that was not a good thing. That 'belt' ran low and hit at the wrong place, just atop my behind. There was *no* A-line effect at all. It was huge on top and snug at bottom and I carry my weight in my stomach, not my hips, so I don't get it. Add to this, the sleeves were too long. Yes you can turn them up, but with the too-big-top, snug-hip bubble effect, I looked like a little girl in her mother's coat. Which brings me to: I *really* don't get why this garment is considered 'stylish.' I don't know what garment the Q was showing in the online video, but the item I received is matronly and 'rough,' not fashionable and elegant. Next stop, repackaging for return. Booooooo! I'm so disappointed. Generally speaking, a nice boucle coat is a thing of beauty that serves well for traveling and various transitions. I have been on the hunt for one for YEARS since I saw a true fashionista retrieve hers from an overheard bin on a flight from Los Angeles to cold Chicago. Sadly, I have to keep looking.
