This is a great denim shirt! I chose the dark wash. The stitching is subtle and compliments the shirt. The size is true. The length is perfect. The fabric has a good quality feel and is the perfect weight. It's a bit more fitted, but not so much that it's clinging in the wrong spots.......has a very flattering shape. It is great on it's own, or would work as a light shirt jacket look. It has a little classier feel than other more rugged, men-style shirts I've seen.
Rated 5 out of 5 by H2Ofall Great seam details
I purchased this in the Chambray. It is a lovely denim shirt with great seam details that are very flattering. The fabric is thin but sturdy so it works as both a shirt and a jacket. I'm chesty so I was concerned about the pocket placement. Sometimes, even in the larger sizes the chest pockets stay so high on the chest that the shirt looks like it was made for a child, and on me, the pockets are high but my bust is low. Not a good look. But this shirt in the 2X size, the pockets are still high but in the range of reasonableness for my bust. One thing that could make this shirt even better would be pockets on the side seam. Nothing bulky but just enough to put your hands in when wearing as a jacket. The shirt is roomy, I might have been able to go down to the XL but we'll see if there is any shrinkage after washing. Because I'm chesty, I'm either an XL or a 2X, the 1X only adds inches in the hips and waist and I need the extra room in the chest. QVC, your sizing doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't the bust measurements in the 1X be larger than the XL? Not sure why I have to jump to a 2x just to get a couple of inches in the bust.

I just love all the denim shirts and I usually buy one size larger because I wear them as shirt jackets in the fall and spring; or in the winter over a sleeveless shirt. The fit is nice and generous and these wash and dry well -- take them out of dryer quickly to avoid ironing. No shrinkage.

When it is cotton I size up, with this shirt go up 2 sizes. I am a 40 across the bust so I ordered a small which is 42. I need the M which is 44.5. I have better things to do with $7.!

This shirt went back immediately. The body and arms fit like a XS and not a S. Too tight in body area (couldn't button it without puckering in the front) and tight across the back. Arms had no room. Designer must think we ladies have toothpicks for arms. So D & Co designers, have you stopped designing for your customer base (women of a certain age) and are now designing for the under 30 crowd??

Love the dark wine color I received however, the show host did mention sizing up and I ordered my normal size and it has a more fitted look (medium 36ddd 10/12.)
Turns out it looks great with a few other items I've ordered from QVC. Perfect with my Dooney & Burke Lexington shopper in Marsala; Liz Claiborne Eyelet vest A-266164 in mauve; perfect for now Clarks Artisan suede "Claren" wedge in plum A-274725 I really like this look. And because I travel for a living F-11901 in grey Travelon Anti-Theft hobo and Women with Control cargo pant A-279287 in smoke. Great while touring.
Rated 2 out of 5 by mamagriz Didn't expect shrinking
Typical denim shirt, fit, style, etc. But....after washing, it had shrank at least 2 sizes. I bought my usual D & Co size L, but now it fits my young granddaughter age 10. I really needed a new denim shirt since the one I've been wearing belonged to my late hubby and was ready for permanent retirement. I won't go for another since every bit of the 98% cotton shrank.

I really like this shirt...got in several colors and plan to wear on cooler days, fall time as they are too warm for summer shirts other than over-shirts at cool times, air conditioning, etc. My problem is sizing (hence a star gone). I went according to garment size as I have skin rolls after losing weight and also have larger arms than most. I ordered, giving my arms 1.5 inches or so larger than my arms and my waist/high hip a couple inches larger. The arms are skin tight, several of the shirts show my skin rolls a bit. One shirt the arms weren't too bad. One fit fair. I washed in cold and hung to dry and they did not shrink, but of course will need iron touch-up, which I expected and do not mind. I would return and get next size up, but QVC is a killer with shipping and return shipping costs, and tho I appreciate the returnability of things, I cannot afford the cost they charge to do it. If it was my fault, maybe, but when Q's sizing is so unreliable, I think it is very unfair. I will not be exchanging because of that and because of that and other times in the past, I think I will not be buying clothes here very often. Pricing is much higher also than it used to be and it is no longer worth it to continue but only occasionally. I will be hitting the stores. That said, for those of you continuing to buy, size up unless you have a nice smooth figure (where tight shirts look fine) and I think you will love these shirts. I really do like them...just what I wanted, but the sizing unreliability is just too much for me anymore in conjunction with shipping cost policies. Too bad Q doesn't follow the lead of other companies and their policies.
