Shrug too big
I ordered my usual size (1X) for Denim & Co. The dress fit fine and I thought it was pretty in the turquoise (not sure that is the actual colour name they gave it). I like the idea of the shrug but it was obviously too big on me. It just flapped around and looked weird. I have wide-ish shoulders, so I have often had problems with clothes fitting except for being too narrow in the shoulders, but this shrug was just the opposite. I sent it back.

Shrug not for tall people
I like the way the dress fits and looks and that is why I kept it. The shrug is way too short at the back and too small in general. I wear different blouses/jackets with the dress.

Got it for the Shrug
I bought this dress for the Shrug. I have not found another cute shrug anywhere even with what QVC has in the separate shrugs. The A line skirt is old fashioned but I will just take it in. No big deal. I can also hem it up some so it is mid calf length with side slits to the knee. I think it is cute. I have lots of dresses that I can wear this little shrug with.

Wanted To Love It, But
I bought 2 of these as tsv. I loved the fit on top of the dress and crochet detail was beautiful especially on the ivory, but I could not get past the way the sides of the dress stuck out. I agree with other reviewers that the A line detail is very matronly looking. Had it been tapered more slimmingly I would have loved them. Also the shrug added nothing to the look. It made the dress even more matronly looking. Would rather have a lower price and use my own cover up. Gave it 2 stars for fit on top of dress and crochet.

Amazing!!!!
I got this dress as my Easter dress. I am a plus size gal. The dress falls beautifully over my hips. I bought the blue dress. I have now worn it twice. It is long. I am 5' 3" and the dress touches the floor without shoes on. The fabric is soft. The embroidery is very nice. I was worried about the shrug. I am well blessed. The shrug is long enough it hits me below the girls. I am going back for the pink one. This is a very nice summer dress.

As with all Denim & Co clothes, the fit is perfect. They seem to understand that not everyone can wear form fitting clothes.....instead they make form flattering. This set is lovely....and comfortable....and the fabric breathes. I highly recommend it

Not so much....
The dress looked so good on the models on TV but when I tried it on at home, it just, well, made me look like an old lady. Not the look I was going for. Plus it is really heavy weight material. I am thinking in summer when it is really hot, the heavy knit could be uncomfortable. The shrug is a great idea and I have several already but again, it just made the whole outfit look out dated. The crochet applique at the chest didn't help the overall impression either. I love Denim & Co. but they both have to go back.

Loved It
Very happy with this purchase. It fit great. I got the navy and wore this on Easter. Thinking about getting a different color. Can easily find other tops besides the shrug to wear with the dress if I want.

My son said, "No way..."
My 15 year old son said, "No way......it makes you look old!". I have to agree. The A-line skirt is very old fashioned and the shrug makes me older than my 47 years. The dress ALMOST works without the shrug but again the A-line just kills it. All are going back.

going to a wedding
love this dress. i bought the black and it is so pretty.i love the tie to make me have a smaller waist. i ordered the large im either a med. or larg. because it has the tie it looks so good. and the side slits are a little sexy too. thanks love it.

I got this in the pink....i wash everything first before wearing, It kept it's shape &everything, love the length, and my sisters both loved it as well and each order'd one...love it and am getting another color, just can't decide WHAT COLOR???? :),it would be a great gift for any girl!
