Denim & Co. Long Sleeve Oxford Tunic with Pockets
This tunic is SOOOOOO comfy and cute! I'm in love with this shirt because it looks great, feels good on, you can wear the sleeves long or 3/4" length(which I love, because I have shingles on my arms and it covers them without being too warm),and my favorite thing is the pockets! I LOVE tunics with pockets and these are placed in a flattering way! Cute but doesn't add bulk! This tunic is definitely a relaxed fit and excellent for women with larger busts. Give it a try but I would advise that you purchase your regular size, because it has plenty of room. No need to size up. As a matter of fact, if you prefer your tops to be a little more fitted, I'd size down. I love the casual boyfriend shirt type look, so I sized up 1 size, but really didn't need to because it has plenty of room. I'm happy though and will get a whole lot of wear out of this tunic! Thanks QVC for another winner. Please bring this exact top back in more brighter colors for spring summer and darker colors for fall/winter! I'd definitely stock up.I plan on wearing this over tank tops and sleeveless t-shirt dresses! I have the light gray, but it is so light that it matches anything.
Very nice top
I am 40 yrs old and in the last few years swore off collared type shirts in favor of knit tshirt style tops, especially to wear with leggings. When I saw these on a lunchtime special I decided to give them a try in the pink and the blue. When they arrived today I was very impressed with the weight of the fabric which is substantial like a mens oxford dress shirt. I am 5 ft 7inches tall, weigh 145 & wear a 34DD or 36D bra and the XS fit me perfectly. I will have to iron them but no big deal - they are great tops for the lunchtime special price.
Love Love Love
I have every color. Can't imagine why you won't offer this one anymore!?
Love!! On a whim, I purchased the blue and pink. Love the oxford preppy look. This sure fits the bill. Ordered a third today on a lunchtime special. Very nice quality material. Washed both on cold and line dried. No shrinkage and material stayed just as crisp as new after ironing. I'm 5'4 and 120 lbs. Size small with room but not too much! Nice :))
I ordered this looking for something a bit more relaxed and was looking for a color I don't already own. I ordered the mocha color which I believe was described on air as a kind of hot chocolate color. It did appear that way on the air but looked quite different on line. In person, it really doesn't resemble any kind of brown. When I first looked at it, I thought it had far more of a mauve tone than even light brown. I've worn it several times and find that it pairs better with dark plum tones than any kind of brown or tan. So, fair warning to anyone who is wondering about the color...don't get the mocha if you definitely want something on the light brown and/or tan side. I will say that this is a very comfortable shirt. It is long enough to wear with leggings or those too tight pants, and the pockets are great! They are sewn down and don't stick out or add any bulk. The shirt is generously cut but not quite like wearing a sack. Perhaps a bit more shaping in the middle would be an improvement. Material is substantial, and I expect a long time of wear. It is generally a good purchase if you want something longer and casual.
Really Like this as it will be Good to wear over a s/s T-shirt as Well. Good Price, too!!
I am sorry to say that this tunic top was not only a terrible fit, but the material was stiff and cheap looking. It was so big on me that it stood out in the back and looked like a bell. I ordered an XS because there was no XXS. It was also much too long that I could have worn it as a mini dress. What's up with the sizing at QVC? I have been shopping at the Q for 20 years and I never had trouble with the sizing until last year. I am tried of sending merchandise back and paying S&H fees. Something has to be done because the consumers should not have to keep returning merchandise or sizing up or sizing down. When I make a purchase, I know that I want that item and am disappointed when I have to return it because of improper fit. This tunic is going back today.
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to write reviews. Your reviews and honesty concerning the ironing of this shirt was exactly what I was looking for when reading the reviews. I thought this shirt would need ironing but wanted to check before ordering, will be looking for a different shirt. Again thank you ladies. I don't recommend this for anyone but won't allow me to delete , mind of its own.
Looks like a lab coat
Looks like a medical jacket! D&C could do better than this!
Runs Smaller Than I Expected
I am right on the border between a large and extra large on the size charts. I usually go down to a Large when I order Denim and Co. That didn't work out very well for me on this top (I ordered the blue and the pink)... although it fits well enough in the shoulders and bust (both of which are small), it is super tight across my post menopausal gut. And of course, there is no chance of layering this shirt over a tee or turtleneck. But I haven't tried the shirt on in quite some time; I'm happy to say my gut has decreased in size...yay!!! I bet they're just fine now! (Still wish I'd ordered an XL, though!)
Like, but don't love
Bought white and gray last year. Like, but don't love. The fabric is coarser and heavier than I expected -- not like the oxford cloth shirts of my youth, making them too hot for summer wear. Washed one to make sure shrinkage wouldn't be excessive, which it wasn't; however, ironing is a must. Like another reviewer pointed out, even with a Rowenta iron steam assist, the original crispness couldn't be reproduced. I know I won't wear them as often as I thought I would because they will be waiting to be ironed much of the time. The pockets are a plus. The length is just what I wanted it to be: long. Paired them with D & Co pants.
This is a super top!!! If you do not like to iron, this one is not for you!!! But well worth it!!!
