Denim & Co. Long Sleeve 1/2 Zip French Terry Tunic w/Pockets
The fabric was not right. The color, raspberry, was not pretty! I did not even try on. Returned right away so disappointed. Back to the design/fabric board on this one,Gary!!
Fabric Too Thin. French Terry? Really?
It seems like Denim & Co items keep getting cheaper and cheaper. This is the third item I've bout. I bought 3 of these, hoping they'd be cozy enough with a t shirt to wear indoors during he winter. The fabric however, is too thin. It's listed as "french terry" which is fabric with loops on the reverse side next to your skin. This fabric barely qualifies as that. It is so thin I thought it was tissue weight. It is not warm. It is okay for spring and early fall, but not suitable for winter. Even with something under it, which defeats the purpose of having a smooth look, it's still too thin to be comfortably warm.
Information About Pockets
I purchased this for my mother the first time they were offered, and she loves it and finds it very comfortable. She is 5'2" and wears an 18-20W, so it also works for mature women who are not built like models!
I seem to see many of the same complaint about the pockets being sewn shut. I will attempt to be as delicate as I can...most boutique clothing comes with the pockets sewn shut to give one an option of opening them if they find the pockets useful. You simply need to turn it inside out and snip through the independent stitches holding the pockets closed. I recognize that cheaper items do not have this feature. However, I would imagine that QVC never thought to mention it because they assume -- like I did -- that people who shop with them know this.
I bought this top in chocolate brown last season, and have purchased two more colors today. I like the material, the long sleeves, and the zip collar. It is comfortable and a good length for me at 5'7". I did not cut the stitches holding the pockets shut, so that they would continue to lie flat and be a style detail. I've layered a close-fitting tank underneath, added various scarves, and worn it on its own. For me, this is a versatile, comfortable top. Hoping the new ones I ordered today are as nice.

This tunic has a great length. It covers what's needed. I bought the orange and green. Please bring more of the brown!
Love this top
I love this tunic. Perfect lightweight french terry. Pockets!!!!!! Great length. Stylish collar and zipper. Just love it!
It's my favorite.
I LOVE this top!! I have it in 3 colors already and wish more colors were available. It's comfy and yet nice enough to wear to work. I love the feel of the fabric...it's thicker than t-shirt material which makes sitting in my freezing office cubicle much more bearable and it keeps it from clinging to places I don't want clung to. I see some people are having issues with the collar but I have found if you adjust the zipper a bit, the collar will lay flatter AND you get the v-neck look - which I find to be more flattering on me anyway.
I usually give really good reviews but this top I found to be just okay, although there is nothing wrong with it. Some reviewers did not like the collar, but I was actually fine with the collar-- a thin tank can be worn underneath and you can unzip the top and lay the collar flat and no problems there. The raspberry color was pretty, but I wasn't fond of the material or the way it laid on my body - fit me like a sack. Back it went.

I ordered this top in the black. It runs a little large in the sizing, but it has a nice length. However, the fabric is very "clingy" and it seems to attract alot of lint, etc. I'll just end up wearing it around the house.
I get this top try it on , go to put my hands in the pockets and find that they r completely sewn shut. COMPLETELY !!!!!!!!!!!. Sending it back and do not feel I should pay for shipping.
I read reviews just to see if anyone else thought the collar was strange and they did. a lot of bad reviews about collar. It doesn't lay flat and it stands up in the back clear past your neckline to the middle of your head!! Just could not get it to look right!!
I've had this shirt for a long time in several colors. It's very comfortable, nice and long being a true tunic. I've found I can easily dress it up with jewelry or a scarf or just wear it as-is for a more casual look. I like the little pockets, although it find that I rarely use them. Just went back for the orange.
