Denim & Co. "How Comfy" Regular Boot Cut Knit Jeans
MORE Denim & Co. Size Problems............
I purchased two pair of these jeans in a size 6 -- one black and one dark indigo. The black pair fit very well but the dark indigo pair are huge in the hips and thighs. I don't understand why Denim & Co. is having so many sizing problems. So many items have to be returned because of it. I am returning the dark indigo pair.
Just received these jeans and I absolutely love the fit, however like other viewers the black runs just a tad short in length....will wash them and hope they fit the same then as they do now. I have 5 colors and would like to order more but I have this weight issue going on.....losing, YAY so I'm going to wait a bit but I would love a pair in every color! (happy dance)
Incredibly Inconsistent Sizing!
I wasn't sure which size I would need, so I ordered the gray and purple in the 26 and 28...I tried on the purple 28, and they fit better than the purple 26. Then I tried on the gray 28, and the waist turned out to be smaller than the gray 26 and purple 26 pants...and at least 1.5 inches smaller than the purple 28 pants! The gray 26 waist was about a half-inch smaller than the purple 26.
I also noticed the lengths were way different. The purple 28 pants were the longest (and actually the correct inseam)--at least two inches longer than the gray 28 pants!! The purple and gray 26 pants were slightly shorter (about 3/4 inch) than the purple 28 pants--still too short given the advertised inseam.
I'm keeping the purple 28 pants because I really like them...but I'm so frustrated that I don't know if I'll try to get more colors. I'm definitely contacting QVC's customer service tomorrow about the defects.
I wonder if the high quantity of pants ordered simply reflects frustrated women trying to get QVC to send the pants they actually ordered!!!!
I absolutely love these jeans. The fit is perfect, they feel so good, and I haven't had problems with the sizing or length. I do use a little common sense when drying them in the dryer. I put them (along with dream Jeannes# in the dryer for about 15-20 minutes, just enough to get rid of any wrinkles. I promptly take them out and hang them in the bathroom or even outside on the deck #when humidity is down) and finish drying them. Just perfect!! I have 5 pairs and will be back for more during the next few months.
I purchased these in indigo and in black. Both faded dramatically, especially the black. Much worse is that within a few wearings holes opened up at the top corners of the pockets. The blue was the worst. QVC honored their promise and replaced them for me. The same thing happened again! It wasn't a fluke. I will not be replacing these with more of the same, and recommend you avoid them too.
I purchased 6 pairs of these jeans in several colors. The black, obviously, has a sizing problem. I returned the black jeans 3 times & 3 times the jeans were approximately 3 to 4 inches shorter than all of the other colors!!!!!!! I have returned them for the last time due to them getting shorter with each return!!!! They are a lovely fit if you can get the correct size & length. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!
These are the most comfortable jeans in the world! I have 4 pair and will be back for more.
Professional Looking but feel like lounge wear
Have a hard time with pant fits - especially boot cut but found perfection. They look more expensive than they are. The close knit is almost like a ponte from a distance and no one sees the elastic waist but I sure love it. I can wear this to any professional meeting with a great top and feel like the best dressed woman in the room and certainly the most comfortable one..
Get the white
I love these pants. I have the white. They are so comfortable and nice and fitted. The only problem I have is that they don't iron that well. This is inherent of this material. If you don't feel compelled to have them creased and pressed I think you will be happy. They run true size. They may shrink up in length after a while. I am considering another color but based upon the reviews I fear the dark colored ones will get dingy looking. Stick with the light colors and I think you will be pleased.
Happy with this product.
I usually purchase Quacker Factory DreamJeannes, but since these were $10 cheaper, I thought I'd give them a try. Well, they run a bit smaller than DreamJeannes, so I was initially disappointed, but since I've been losing weight recently, I decided to keep them. Now the DreamJeannes are too big, and these fit fine...but I do not like them as much as the DreamJeannes. It's just your personal preference.
Comfy and great fit
I am so happy with the fabric and fit. So comfortable. Am careful washing to minimize fading, but I have never had jeans that didn't fade. Bought the blue and black and love them both. The black pair was a little longer, but I have had that happen with other jeans also. It is not much of a problem. Overall, these are my new favorites.
LUV these jeans
I have 3 pair of these and absolutely love them. They come in numeric sizes and that is what I like. They are soft, comfortable, and wash well. I read one rating where she said she ordered these in a medium. Sorry, they don't come in mediums, at least not these. Will order more.
