For reference, I am 5'7" 235lbs and I ordered the black in XL and it is almost too big! What I like to do is I pull the skirt low so that the bottom is as long as it can be and the waist is almost below my bellybutton and then I put on a long form fitting cami so that is smooths out the hip area and helps with the skirt not looking like there is too much material in the hip area. It sort of flattens that area for me and I like the look of the skirt better. I do not like it pulled up high like in the pix it makes me look huge. So all in all I like this skirt and wanted a style and material like this to wear and am happy with my purchase. I just really want to warn anyone thinking of buying it to go on the low side of your sizing because you will not like this skirt if it has too much material.

I'm a QVC Small. I bought a Small and it fits as expected. There's plenty of stretch in the upper portion. I was hoping to wear it as a dress to/from the beach and it looks very nice pulled all the way up. I'm not sure, however, if it will stay up on me - there's stretch in the tie so it might want to slip down. (I have a 35" bust). Time will tell. It also looks great worn as a skirt so I'm very happy with it. The styling minimizes bulk in the hip area, which is a good thing. I live in the tropics and I wanted natural fibers. This feels nice and cool. I look forward to getting a lot of wear out of it. The white goes with everything. Fitted tops that just about cover the smocking seem to look best with it on me.

This maxi skirt has the perfect content fabric including the lining. It is not a heavy material but rather cool and comfy. I purchased all 3 colors in medium and the white one is not see thru at all. The waist has a lot of give allowing you to size down however, I would check the garment specifications to be sure. Please bring in more colors, and do not change the content of the skirt and lining. I believe the 79% cotton & 21% poly mix for the shell and 100% cotton for the lining is perfect. You can wear this as a dress, long/short skirt, and it can also be used as a beach cover up.

I thought the skirt was well made, and just perfect in design also. I worried it would be too much fabric as I have found with other skirts this style. Perfect, feminine and above all flattering on. Very happy 5 STARS.

Color is a little off. Didn't match the Denim & Co black top I had in mind. I'm 5'3 and if I pull this up to my "girls" it won't drag on the floor. It's a little long for a petite person. The fabric and lining are excellent and I would order again if offered in a petite medium. Let's see this in petite and more colors.

Was on the fence about this skirt at first. A lot of material. But wore it to work with a tank, jean jacket and flats and the girls liked it.

I got this in black...... The color is drab, but I did not want neon lights . Nice fit, comfortable. I see many complaints......ladies just remember that what you see on skinny models will not look the same on our wide tails. This skirt is greats....can pull up to under my bust line, use at the waist or use below the waist.
If you are looking to recreate your shape....sorry it's profound exercise or the knife! It is an excellent skirt....and hear me I don't have a great shape and I am overweight...... Just not humongous! Thank God
And most of all coooooool in 93degrees!

I am a plus size gal, and buy XL or 1X in skirts. I have a rear end, and this skirt looks awful. If you pull int he waist, then the hips are accentuated. Just did not fit well, so I sent it back. Too bad, because I've been looking for a black gauze skirt to wear for a summer band I play in.
