Denim & Co. Active Zip Front French Terry Jacket is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the Deep Burgundy Color Got this in my usual QVC size small. Love the color, the style, the hardware. Unusually for me, the arms are a little short. I like that the jacket is semi-fitted; quite modern and youthful. My main concern is that, since everything fits "snug" now before it's laundered, is it going to shrink? This would not be good and the garment would just look tight and definitely could not be zipped. So far so good, I like it a lot ... but I am concerned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only if you sew!! I had to laugh when I saw the pockets seamed partially closed! Did someone mistake this for an expensive wool jacket?? As I was ripping the stitches out, I was hoping others who got this and maybe didn't sew, were able to undo them without ruining the jacket....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pockets Need to be Opened I thought I got a flawed jacket because the pockets have a deliberate seam closing the middle of each one. I can only get two fingers in the top and bottom of each pocket, which is not a functional pocket as stated in the description. I like the bright navy color, the fabric is lightweight, and feels good to me --soft, smooth, with a bit of stretch. I ordered a size down and am busty, so it's very shapely on me and the zipper seems sturdy and like it will work the way it should for a long time. I really like this jacket and am disappointed to read that even if I ask for a replacement I'll probably get one with the same pocket problem. ......A bit later: I used a seam ripper and held a flashlight under my chin in order to see the stitches because the color of thread and jacket are perfectly matched. Once I got one side started, I was surprised at how easily the seam did come out. You have to be careful on both ends, but the middle came apart easier. It was a bit of a pain to have to do that, especially for the $$, but now I can keep it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is ridiculous! The quality for the price is Zero. The fit, the fabric...nothing good here. And the pockets are stitched permanently closed unless you want to rip out the whole pocket off the garment. Obviously defective. I sure hope I am not charged shipping return when they get it back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from prices up and quality down I was so excited to see this jacket and even ordered multiple colors since it reminded me of one I have had for years that has been discontinued. I was so disappointed when I received it. I don't think I can say one good thing about it except I did like the colors. And of course with the return shipping that is shame on me. If the prices are going to be higher one would hope the quality would be there, but the material was thin and the jacket was shapeless and was certainly not worth the money. Oh well maybe this time I will finally learn my lesson. I have been shopping at OVC from the very beginning and still have clothes from over 20 years ago but nothing I buy now would last a year if that, except for some of Issac's stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Fit Great fit and material....would have given this a 5 star rating but the pockets are stitched permanently shut with tiny sturdy, difficult to clip open" stitches. I am a seamstress and recognize cheap shortcuts when garment didn't use basteing stitches on pockets. Impossible to open without leaving little tearing holes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Jacket This French Terry jacket is soft, light weight which I like and warm enough for Fall and Winter months in the South. Gary, would you consider using this material in a jacket without a hood and with a collar that is not to big. Yet another winner Gary!! Thank You!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is the second Denim and Co french terry jacket I've ordered in the past month, and neither one is the quality I've experienced in the past. I ordered this one in the burgundy, which is a beautiful color, and the sizing is perfect. However, the side pockets are sewn absolutely shut!!! There is no way to loosen the seams to open the pockets without ruining this jacket. I don't know what's going on with D & C quality control, but I hope things improve soon. I was really looking forward to wearing this jacket, which is the perfect weight for most of our Florida winter. Returning.
