Rated 4 out of 5 by Really nice but really big I consulted the "click here" sizing guide and, based on my measurements, chose the XL. I definitely only needed the L. These are just beautiful... extraordinarily soft and comfy. Too bad that I had to send them back. I am 5'8.5" tall and have a short torso and longer legs. The length of these pants was all right and they laundered well. I considered keeping these and washing& drying them several times on high heat to try to shrink them. But since the cotton content was mitigated by synthetic fibers, I did not think the shrinkage would occur anytime soon. In the meantime, the pants would have been hanging off my hips. Considering that I know two people who have broken a hip by wearing wide-leg pants that were too big, I returned these. I will try them at a later time in large b/c they are so luxe. Anyone who likes cozy loungewear that looks good enough to be seen in it outside the home would like these. 09-23-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by SIZING WAY OFF Really wanted to like these when I opened them, however, they were way too tight. Ordered a Small....should have went up a size. Fabric and length was perfect. 08-01-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Negative reviews but purchased anyway & glad I did Fit is fine in the medium. I will wash before hemming simply because of high cotton content. Colors are nice. I ordered the blue and the gray. I love straight leg pants for everyday. Even though these are IMPORTED, the waist to hip length is good; usually the imports are just too short. Would give 5 stars but they are an import. I withhold 5 stars on that basis. 02-18-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wash a few times before hemming! I'm a petite and always have to hem (even the petites). I always wash before doing so. This pant shrank after washing the second time (i.e. after I hemmed). So too short now. BUT...I gave it 4 stars because I love the fit! I have some other D&C french terry pull on pants and they are *super* baggy. These pants are not...a much better profile. And I am quite round in the middle and still a great fit! Just ordered in two more colors, just because I liked the fit of these so much. Also, SUPER comfy!! 01-26-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful sizing! Runs small and short. Design flaws. Skip these. Do not buy. I ordered larger than normal and they fit skin tight. The waist was also very low and drawstring tied across my pelvis instead of my waist. Not sure what happened here. Only good thing was feel of fabric, but at 95% cotton it might shrink even smaller. They looked a lot like my favorite Sport Savy pants, but they are not even close!!! 12-02-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not 31" inseam These are not 31 inch inseam, more like 29, also this pant runs small as well. Like the look, but the sizing and description is way off. 11-25-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and cute Love the fabric. Substantial but not thick or heavy. Washed nicely. Style is flattering. The way the waistband is designed is clever. The cut is flattering. Very comfortable. I just really enjoy wearing them. 11-10-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by AGREE -- WAIST TOO TIGHT I agree with many other comments in this Review Section for these pants. I ALSO find the waist too small on the XL, my usual size. I have compared the online garment measurements with the next size up, 1X, and I find very little difference between the two sizes. I do love the feel of the material, and the look and length of these slacks; so I have decided to give the 1X in black a try... It seems like the waist does not have enough adjustment to the stretch , so I plan to clip and remove the tie on the XL.. After washing them, I hope I can find at least one pair that I can wear.. 10-10-14
