Rated 5 out of 5 by Best 4k Available Construction of this Dell 4k Monitor is perfect, colors are adjusted at the factory and tested with a printed report. When unplugged it has a diagnostic test cycle you can run to see for yourself. What I find odd is this one screen now has the capacity of 4 of my other monitors at the same time. I use it mainly for text which is super clear even at the smallest visible size. it is configured to display everything 150% larger than normal. Some live video streams that use to be very poor quality are now much better, so there is an improvement even before 4k content is available. You will end up in a technical splash when it's first hooked up, to discover it operates at 30Hz full resolution using HDMI cable. While it's not bad at all, everyone says use the DisplayPort 1.2 to run it at 60Hz. I am going to do that but will need to buy a new video card. There is no stopping high resolution now, it has just begun with 5k and 8k coming next. The title of this review is lifted from an article read today by the wirecutter. They did a shootout of current 4k monitors and this Dell came out on top easily. I may get a second Dell soon, to daisy-chain them together but the resolution will be 2 steps lower than full, according to VESA specs. 09-21-16
