Dell 17" Laptop - AMD A9, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dell Laptop. I purchased 2 of these Dell 17 inch A-9. First day with my wife's computer seemed like something didn't load right. Up and running and Dell had 3 updates it needed to do. Locked up and had to get in reset factory setup. all seemed to go good 4 days later the Dell updates would not go on. and Network problems. I finally got in and called Dell they got in that computer and was able to fix it. 3 days later the thing would not reboot and again needed to factory reprogram. Boxed it up and sent that one back. 2 days later mine was working just fine and all the sudden it went down and didn't allow me to reboot. then had network problems. I did the same thing factory reset and sent that one back before the 30 days was up. Purchased Dell upgrades. Just got the one and the other on the way. So far so good. They loaded with ease and seem faster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Turned on when I received it and charged it fully. All automatic updates took effect but seemed to take a very long time, over an hour. After the updates it restarted automatically and my son used it to surf the internet for less then one hour. It shut off automatically during his search and never turned on again. Power light would go on but screen was black and stayed that way. Nothing I did wouId get this laptop to work. I returned it for a full refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Wi-Fi Networks available I purchased this computer thinking it would be ready to go once I received it. I was wrong! I messed around with the Wi-Fi connections for 2 hours! Could not get ANY networks to show up..not mine, or my neighbors...nothing. Finally, found a number for Dell, and called them. This process took TWO and a HALF hours to fix! They had to download a whole bunch of stuff onto the computer via remote, to get it to connect. I received the computer via UPS at 4pm, it's now 9:33pm and I am just online now. I don't recommend this computer, luckily Dell got me online or I would have returned it...There was nothing wrong with MY connection or router, it was something not set up on the computer itself.
