This computer sounds great, I mean with 8 GB RAM it should run well, and quickly.
Within less than 30 days, it now will not stop freezing, won't run more than one program. It wont take an update - and come to find out my warranty time period is only until Nov 22 2017. I bought this computer last month. The warranty period was from August 2016 - Nov 2017. Luckily I am within the return period, and will be doing so!

I have only had this computer for a few days but so far I love it.
It is beautiful to look at. It is thin and light weight. The apps open with no delay. Very quick. Transitions from laptop to tablet very quickly and smoothly. Same applies to changing from vertical to horizontal in tablet mode. Love the backlit keyboard. Sound is good. Screen is very nice, though picks up fingerprints like magic.
I had no problems with it working straight out of the box. I did have 2 issues due to problems with updates but was able resolve them without too much trouble. It is a bit too heavy to hold comfortably in one hand but still very useful as a tablet.
To anyone considering a 2 in 1, I think you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

I had zero problems connecting to the internet with this computer as the other review mentioned. Not once. It is light weight, has terrific screen resolution compared to other laptops. 1098 x 1900 as opposed to so many that only with 768 x 1300. No laptop made today should even use that low a resolution. It's a sin they are still making computers with that low a resolution. I do photography so this was important to me. I returned a previous Dell just because primarily because of the poor resolution. The type looked pixelated on it. The tablet mode is nice to have, but I honestly don't use it that often since I have an iPad for that. But it works great and I love the handy stylus that pops tight out when you want to use it. The Solid State Drive is fast. It opens fast and shuts down fast. So far, so good. Happy with this purchase. I recommend.

I use a bunch of Dell products. my main media device is the Dell chromebook and it's awesome. I figured this would be a great windows based portable laptop for travel. It looks nice. Fairly light weight and slim. Right out of the box I had problems. Connected to WIFI and managed to get online for a couple of minutes and it disconnected. Tried reconnecting and it kept telling me I had limited connectivity. 100 mb service , my Ipad and chromebook are blazing fast yet this thing cant connect? I restarted computer , which takes forever for it to do and was able to connect for another few minutes then dropped. did this a couple of more times then it stopped detecting any networks at all!
Frustrated I put it away for the night. The next day I tried again and it wouldn't turn on. couldn't figure out why but then I plugged it in and it started. The battery had run down overnight from full charge??? When it finally came on it must have crashed because it had to go through memory/hard drive system check! After about 20 minutes I was able to log on but the same problem. No networks detected. That was enough for me. Sending it back today. Very disappointed.
