M17116 - Cushman's 12lb Large & Snack Size Honeybells Assortment
Not at all what I thought
I was expecting the most delicious fruit I have ever tasted. That was not the case. They were very juicy but most of mine were sour/bitter tasting. They all had a lot of seeds. It was almost exhausting to peel them and get the seeds out. It was not worth all the work. I would never order these again!!!! Not worth the $40.00.
I ordered 3 boxes of the honeybells, one was for me and the other boxes were for two other people. I am very dissatisfied with my orter this year. They were very juicy, but not sweet at all ,they were very tart. These oranges are too costly to taste like oranges purchased from the local supermarket . Last year they were very good, but this year, I am very disappointed. The other two people I ordered for say the same thing. I ate about 6 or 7 of them and not a sweet one in the bunch. Maybe they did not stay on the tree long enough. I wish I could send mine back. Next year, I will stick with the local supermarket oranges, it's much cheaper and about the same taste. thank you Flan
Just got these the other day, mold, green and just horrible!!!
Call and had spoken with customer service, very nice refunded my money and I didnot have to return them,
Better to go to local store
very juicy but not at all sweet. grocery store oranges are sweeter. i will not order again.
Best Fruit Ever
I have ordered this wonderful fruit twice this season and I am now on auto-Dalivery. Not sure what others were expecting but we have never had anything as wonderful as this fruit. Not sure what we will do when we run out.
Best EVER !!!
There has never been a day in my home when there hasn't been a bowl of oranges in my kitchen , but when my purchase of Honeybells arrived and I ate that first one.....OH MY !! I could not believe the flavor and the juice .These are beyond the best oranges I have ever eaten in my life and I will buy them again again. I did share afew with my husband but the I hid the rest.....Yup ! I 'm bad!
What they are is juicy. What they're not - seedless. The demo never mentions that there might be seeds. I expected them to be more like the clementines in the stores, but bigger. The taste is good, but there is so many seeds that my husband won't eat them. The sizes are misleading too. I could not tell any difference in the large or snack size. I wouldn't order again, especially since by the time you add in shipping, etc. it came to over $40.
My family and I have enoyed them 100%. I didnot have any problems with them. They were sweet, juicy, seedless and much better than the store bought oranges. I will order them again next January. Thank you QVC and Cushmans for bring some January sunshine to NYC.
I was so surprised at the quality of the fruit when I received it as I am usually so pleased with items I get at QVC. Small in size, averaged 20 seeds per piece, (three at the least and 37 at the most), and compared to the fruit shown on air, not one was a nice unblemished orange color. Would not recommend to anyone to buy at this price.
Cure for Winter Doldrums
These arrived during our cold snap and we were able to share with some elderly friends. I really like the flavor. None had that woody texture I hate.
I was so excited by the presentation given on TV regarding the Cushman Honeybells. I couldn't hardly wait until I got my order. I even told my co-workers and others about them coming. I am embarrased now that they are asking me to try one. What a huge disappointment. They look like oranges, no different. They are juicy, but no different tasting than an orange I would by at the local chain grocery store. The color inside and out is NOTHING like what I was shown on TV. I have not attempted to return them, but I just might. This is the second food item I have gotten from QVC that was not very high quality. All other items are great. Maybe we should just stick to merchandise and not produce.
Really Good and Juicy!!!!
This was my first time ordering the honeybells and I was very much surprised at how juicy they were. I have shared them with others and they too raved at the taste and juiciness. There have been seeds in the ones I have eaten so far, but not enough to take away the enjoyment of eating the honeybells. I did see an ad in a local produce store for honeybells and I will check them out to compare the size and quality.
