Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Blue Like many of you on here, I saw the TSV on this ring and i just so happened to be in the market for a tanzanite ring, i thought that this was meant to be! I got the morganite ring and was on the fence about the tanzanite.. So I watched and was deciding it over in my head and finally took the leap and bought it. I finally got it and it truly was beautiful, the diamonds sparkled, the cut was classic and beautiful, however when i looked at the ring it looked PURPLE! I was kind of disappointed because during the presentation, they kept raving about how blue it was a and it was beyond AAA quality so I went out into the light it was still purple, no flash of red. Anyway, I was going to keep it until I was out and about and people were complimenting me on my purple ring!! The last straw is when I went to another store and compared my ring to their tanzanite jewlery and saw what a true blue tanzanite ring should be! My ring was definitively a light purple ring. So back this ring goes and I go back to the drawing board.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as presented stated I received my ring yesterday & was so excited, but upon opening the package ( seriously a cheap paper box) I was disappointed. The diamonds are beautiful, clear & sparkle Like crazy, but the Tanzanite is purple & very dull with no sparkle what so ever , Even went outside in the sun to see, but no luck . I guess I got a dud! Going to call Customer service to see if I can exchange & try my luck, was planning on getting It appraised for insurance purpose, as I am curious, but not going to waste my time . Hopefully I can get a replacement that will be the quality claimed , especially for the price If not going back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shocking I was literally shocked at how beautiful this ring is. The quality of the stone is hard to believe. My ring is blue violet with red flashes. I usually don't order white gold jewelry but I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did. The diamonds are a good size and coupled with the the split shank, you really can't tell it set in white gold. I do feel like the gold weight is lacking but in this case I feel the quality of the stone made up for the price. Even though the diamonds go down the shoulders of this ring I find it comfortable to wear. Love, love, love this stone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This ring is beautiful! I used to sell some of the finest loose stones in Ceylon sapphires, rubies, diamonds and yes, when Tanzanite first surfaced in the market, also sold this stone. This ring is fine quality. Sitting next to one of my Ceylon sapphire rings, the tanzanite shows flashes of blue, violet, red. It depends on which light it is in, of which color, blue or purple violet it will flash. I do think that QVC should have packaged it in a nicer box, not in plastic in a brown bag. It costs a lot of money and should have come in something nicer. As to where it was made, mine says China inside although I would have preferred it not say that at all as all my fine jewelry does not show countries inside them. Also to the person who said they should have put the 14K inside, it is inside and shows very clearly. A fine purchase here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A UPS NIGHTMARE IT TOOK ME ALMOST TWO WEEKS TO GET MY TANZANITE RING. WHY? BECAUSE I WASN'T HOME THE FIRST TIME TO SIGN FOR IT. IT THEN WENT TO AN ACCESS POINT OF NO RETURN. I UNDERSTAND THAT SECURITY WAS INVOLVED BUT THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY TO SECURE EXPENSIVE JEWELRY FROM QVC.. THE SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT IS LABORIOUS. FINALLY AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS TO UPS, I CALLED THE Q AND IT FINALLY CAME TODAY. I WAS NOT OVERLY IMPRESSED. POSSIBLY BECAUSE I KEPT READING THE REVIEWS ABOUT HOW IMPRESSED EVERYONE ELSE WAS. I EXPECTED THE STONE TO BE LARGER, IT WASN'T BUT THE COLOR WAS BLUISH PURPLE, WHICH DID SATISFY ME. I COMPARED IT TO MY OTHER TANZANITE RINGS AND THIS ONE WAS FAR BETTER QUALITY. HAVING SAID THAT, THE DIAMONDS ARE EYE CLEAN AND WHITE AND THE WHITE GOLD SHANK DOES HAVE SOME WEIGHT, BUT I WANT TO SEE THE INSCRIPTION OF 14K ON THE SHANK. I ALSO WANT TO KNOW WHERE IT WAS MADE. I COULD HARDLY READ IT AND SAYING IT WAS "IMPORTED" DOES NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION. SO I HAD TO GIVE THIS LOVELY RING 4 STARS. THE QUALITY WAS GOOD BUT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT NEED ATTENTION.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from stunning quality I am totally blown away by the quality of this ring. So glad I took a chance on it although I thought I needed my head examined to buy something so expensive based on a TV presentation. However I trusted Jeff and QVC and they delivered as promised. My tanzanite stone is a stunning cobalt blue and sparkles like nothing else in my collection. There are small flashes of red- no purple. The diamonds also sparkle like crazy. I am wearing it now and it is taking me forever to type this review because I keep stopping to admire the ring. Seriously even though the price has gone up I would encourage others to get this. I just don't think that you will easily match the quality of the tanzanite even at the higher price. I have the earrings on wish list! As to the packaging well so what? The ring was protected from damage by the box. It's not like I am ever going to take it off. LOL.Just kidding I will place it in my nice jewelry box when I am not wearing it. I never store in separate little boxes anyway,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mck I just received this ring, the stones are stunning. The ring is all I expected it to be, really beautiful. However, I did not expect a ring of this price to come in a cardboard box! Shame on you at the Q who did not demand a velvet ring box. I 'm sure the cardboard was cost efficient and increased profit. In the future I may just go to the jewelry store when spending this kind of money...
