Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not buy again!! I purchased this from QVC many years ago. I didn't like it from the get go. I kept it because I needed it right then. It is nice to have a digital mixer. When you press one it swings all of the left over stuff off of your beaters. But, my son, a few weeks ago forced the larger blade into the smaller blades spot. It now doesn't work unless you keep the beaters forced to the bottom of the bowl, the beater comes flying out. The cord would be nicer if it retracted but it's nicer than my first one which got all tangled up because it didn't have the swivel part. It has 7 speeds which is much more than one needs. I think slow, medium, fast and maybe faster would be tops for me!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from dud I purchased this in Nov. and it is just now March, it has already died and I haven't used it that much. For $50 it should have lasted longer than 4 months. No more Cuisinart for me. Sorry QVC, but this is a dud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No Dough Hooks I haven't used it yet, just plugged it in to see if it worked. I'm not to sure about the "starts out slow" part. The one I got seems to hesitate then goes fast and then slows down (without being in a bowl with something to mix). I am disappointed that it did not come with dough hooks, guess I shuda read the description closer, but the one with 9 speeds does, go figure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever! I love this hand mixer. I wasn't too happy with the mixer I purchased before this one, it was a Kitchenaid, which makes a great stand mixer, but I've had two so far and when trying to add eggs to a recipe, the eggs slip up the beaters somehow and with the Cuisinart, they stay where you put them and mix beautifully. Plus the slow start, no matter what speed, is a plus and keeps things from splattering everywhere. This hand mixer is my favorite of all other hand mixers, and I've tried several. This mixer is heavier than the Kitchenaid, but it does such a better job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase!! I recently purchased this hand mixer after giving my daughter my old one. I read reviews and ratings of several brands, and after weighing all reviews, I chose this brand. Unlike some brands that offer color choices, this only comes in white. It has lots of power, and gets the job done. Digital display with 7 speeds is great and the mixer stops immediately when you hit the on/off button, and starts out slowly when turned on. Also comes with a wire whip attachment and spatula. Would recommend this mixer.
