Big Disappointment! The lid on the pot is a very poor design. Difficult to open. There is not a good grip on the lid which if it gets screwed on wrong (off a thread or two) it gets stuck and is almost impossible to get off. Also if it (the lid) is slightly off the coffee goes everywhere! Hate the constant cleaning of the grinder so we never grind beans anymore unless we use a separate grinder, which defeats the purpose! Cuisinart has been very disappointing and I'm no longer impressed with the brand. Not just for this appliance but also with other things we've purchased. No more! Overpriced, under designed, out of my kitchen! 01-19-12

Good coffee I received this Cuisinart Grind and Brew 10 Cup coffee maker about a year ago. I have been very happy with it. If you do use the grinder and plan on making a second cup, you will have to clean, dry, etc... some what of a pain. Solution: I use a septate grinder. I haven't had a bad pot of coffee yet! 02-02-11

TROUBLE TO ENTERTAIN WITH AS PER THE DIRECTIONS, YOU MUST CLEAN THE GRINDER BETWEEN EACH POT BREWED. YOU MUST ALSO TAKE THE TIME TO DRY THE GRINDER AND THE SHOOT THE GROUND COFFEE TRAVELS AS MOISTURE FROM BREWING CAN CLUMP THE NEXT GRIND!!!!!!!! OUT OF 5 POTS MADE OVER THE HOLIDAYS, ONLY ONE PRODUCED DRINKABLE COFFEE - THIS WILL DEFINATELY BE RETURNED!!! 12-05-10

Happy Great tasting coffee. Love all the features. Carafe keeps coffee warm without a bad taste. Beeps when finished brewing. Pretty quiet machine, except for grinding of course. Love it. 11-28-10
