Crock-Pot 20 oz. Lunch Crock Food Warmer w/ 2 Containers
I bought several of these last year as a One Time Only Value, I gave some as Christmas gifts. They are excellent! I leave mine at work and just take in the container start it when I get there and usually unplug it 1-2 hrs before lunch and it is still plenty hot for lunch. Everything from soup to meat. Q is the only place to buy it where you get the 2 containers. I have had no negative issues with this product. Thanks Q for another quality product!
I don't write many reviews, but I wanted to give my feedback on this one. For anyone who works in an office and has to share a refrigerator and microwave, I think this is a fabulous idea. I can take my food in and plug it in right away and not worry somebody eating my lunch and it heats it up and makes it the perfect temperature. Even if I forget and don't plug it in until later in the morning, it still does a great job. It's also giving me more options to take foods like soup, that are kind of a pain to transport, to work with me. If anybody is on the fence about this little crock pot, I would go ahead and take the plunge. I think you'll be happy that you did.
GREAT FOR A PARTY!!!!
Inside or outside party a must have. Love the two containers with lids. You can put different
dips or sauces for your parties and they stay warm. So glad I got the raspberry one! Also it makes a great hostess gift.
I am very pleased with my Lunch Crock Pot. I love the fact that I smell my leftovers heating up as the morning passes by. Food tastes better then when I microwave it also. The extra tin is a great idea. I use one and put it in the dishwasher daily and the other one is ready to load for the next day.
The only thing I do not like is the rubber seal tends to pop up, not a deal breaker by any means though.
I am thinking about getting one for my secret santa gift later this year. People in the office want one also.
A Must-Have Add-On to Any Nutrisystem User
I love using the lunch crock to prepare the Nutrisystem dry mix lunch or dinner entrees. Before I leave home each morning, I add the dry mix, cooked meat and/or veggies, and the amount of liquid called for in the crock. I plug it in on my desk at work about two hours before lunch. When, it's time for lunch, I have a steaming hot meal that no one would ever dream was part of a diet program!
Very happy with this purchase
I think this product does do everything promised, it keeps the food warm until you are ready to eat, however it does not over heat it, that was something I was worried about. Sometimes a slow cooker can actually cook the food to a point of being overcooked and tough, this does not do that, it just keeps it very warm and ready to eat. I think you will be very happy with this purchase.
I called crock pot and they assured me they were stainless steel inserts. It's a great little pot.
I bought these last year I love them we use them for everything just like the presentation my family always brings lunch so this is great for leftovers to reheat for lunch the next day thanks qvc Mimi
Love this little thing!
I love my food warmer. It works exactly how it is described. I put my lunch in the removable container the night before. In the morning i just slip the container into the heating unit and head off to work. I plug it in as soon as I get there and by lunchtime it's perfectly hot. Our microwaves at work are lousy and there is always a line to use them. Now I can sit down and enjoy my meal right away.
I would recommend this item for sure!
Works Well, Some Reservations
The concept of this compact crockpot heating up a lunch is great and works as described. Plus side: compact, heats well. Down side: individual pots are aluminum which is not healthy for food. I had thought that the containers were stainless steel, although there was no indication in the description to mislead me here. I had read it in a similar listing on Amazon (which turned out to be incorrect).
I am repurposing it for something else and happened to have a ceramic pot that fits fairly well in the heating unit.
Overall I like the compact design and concept. If the pots were stainless steel I would give this a 5.
Have only used this once. While I don't work any longer, I bought this as a way of using up leftovers. I'm single and still like to cook. Now I can portion out a serving or two for reheating later in the week. It heats nicely without over-cooking the food.
Does exactly what it says it will do - and then some. Tonight I brought soup to work with me that I had stored in the fridge in one of the containers. In less than 2 hours the soup went from refridgerator cold to piping hot. I keep this right on my desk - no tell tale food smell. Cleans up quickly. Holds a goodly amount of food. Would make a great gift for anyone who eats on the run.
