Crock-Pot 20 oz. Lunch Crock Food Warmer w/ 2 Containers
No More "Lunch Thieves"!
I'm certain many of you have this same experience where your meal stored in the office refrigerator becomes a "sampler" (or totally eaten) by some lazy co-workers. As much as I tried to settle my hunger with food bars, there's nothing like a hot meal. This vessel answers my prayers. I no longer worry about the condition (or existence) of my lunch when I'm ready to eat, and I don't stand in lines to use the microwave. The portion size of 20 oz. is satisfying and the appliance reheats my food to my satisfaction.
I work in an Operating Room.. I plug it in the first thing in the morning because I may not be available to do so later.. Sometimes it is plugged in for 4-5 hours before I get to lunch and the food is steaming hot.. Bought one for my family gift exchange this weekend.. You will not be disappointed!!!
This crock pot is awesome!
I rarely eat lunch at work. Now I bring leftovers. I plug it in @ 9 and by noon my lunch is nice and hot! My friend does not use the microwave and he has a mini corningware dish and a hot place that he uses. I purchased one for him for one of his Christmas presents. He is going to love it! In fact, I would not be suprised if he bought an extra one for back-up :-) This is a money saver and quite convenient.
GREAT alternative to using the microwave
Bought this little gem for my drywall-hanging husband to use at work. We are trying to avoid the use of a microwave which kills the nutrition. He loves reheating soup, stew, lasagna and casseroles in this. It beats standing in line for the microwave, too. I love the joking he receives from his other non-metrosexual co-workers about his little gadgit as I purchased the raspberry one with the medium bklue handle!!
Bought my husband one two years ago and he uses it at least 3 days every week. He swears by this. Saves time on lunch break because food is ready when you are. We quit throwing out so many leftovers with this. I finally ordered one for myself. Excited to start using it.
Awsome for winter!
This is great for people like me who work on a trash truck and do not like to eat out everyday, too expensive. I cannot eat a hot lunch in winter, only sandwiches. That gets to be boring. I bought an inverter from QVC and I can plug the inverter into the cigarette lighter and the crock pot into the inverter. Now I can bring my rice and noodles or whatever. Great treat. I bought the black and blue one.
Can't Use In a Call Center
My Employer doesn't allow personal electronic devices to be plugged in. It would crash everything if we all plugged in chargers, crockpots, etc. Still must rely on microwaves provided in the lunchroom. If you work in a call center, you are probably in the same boat.
Hot food at the ready. This remarkable warmer keeps a HUGE 20 oz. serving piping hot for as long as I need. Never again will my Sunday lunch & dinner be a blah sandwich. I'm disabled so now and again I need to rest up. And two containers means a choice for my meals. My chili I made earlier this week is piping hot right now. My Swiss cheesey fingerling potatoes with bacon are in my cooler for dinner later in the 2nd container. Perfect for on-the-job lunchers. There's no buttons, no fuss. It heats up to hot and stays there. Simple. Genius.
Changed my life!
Well, perhaps not my life, but it did change my lunch! This beautifully heats whatever I bring to work, and I don't have to worry about things getting over cooked in a microwave. I have recommended this to everyone! I love having two containers; as others have said, one is in the lunch bag and one is in the dishwasher. Great buy!!
Great little food warmer
Love that it is small and has two warming containers
great little crock pot
This is a great unit. I plug it in at work at the start of the shift by lunch I have hot soup. It easy to clean up. The only down side is I got the wrong color. raspberry, Black and blue would be better. Also wrapping the cord back up is a little difficult.
I bought this for my husband to bring to work. He eats soup for lunch and would have to pay 4.00 a day at the cafeteria. He now brings in canned organic soup from home. He puts the soup in the crock pot and it is ready and hot in an hour. Perfect!! Saves money and time waiting in line at cafeteria.
