Cottage Farms Fiesta Braided Tropical Hibiscus Patio Tree is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beauty is QUICK When I received the tree, it was LOADED with flower buds. Unfortunately, none of the buds were attached to the tree... every one was at the bottom of the box. THREE months later, the tree is LOADED with flower buds again. When the first bud opened, we could not believe how beautiful the flower was! But the next day, it was gone! it fell off the tree! This seems to be the normal behavior for these flowers... they open and coloring is gorgeous, but in 1-2 days, flowers fall to the ground! I don't know there's something that can help the flower stay on the tree... we do have several tall hibiscus bushes outside and the flowers last longer. Overall, I would buy it again... using Miracle Grow now to see if that helps with longevity!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrival Condition The plant arrived in a condition which made it hard for the plant to live. I tried to nurse it but the heat has arrived and it is dead!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely Disappointed... For starters, all my buds have been solid red; none the color in the presentation. Also not nearly the size Phillip had on the presentation. I'll be lucky if mine survives and thrives. I think I've learned my lesson with ordering plants online. About the only thing I've been really pleased with is my blueberry bush from Roberta's (we will see if it produces fruit next year as promised) and my succulents from Cottage Farms. The rest has been puny, and some was dead when arrived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This tree arrived in perfect condition with a bunch of buds ready to bloom. I've had it now for 2 weeks and it has been continuously blooming. It's a big tree with a lot of foliage. The pictures don't accurately depict how beautiful the flowers are. Amazing color!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful Flower but.... I ordered one of these Fiesta Braided Hibiscus trees back in March. I usually have very good luck with Cottage Farms plants and I trust Philips advice and recommendations. However when the first tree arrived in mid-April I was not happy at all. The trunk on the tree was not braided, it was just two sticks coming up out of the pot. The plant was bone dry and very stressed, about half the leaves were yellow and had fallen off in the box. It didn't look like it was going to survive. I called customer care and they were very good about sending out a replacement at no charge which I appreciated very much. The replacement tree arrived yesterday and I'm still not really happy with the plant. It doesn't look anything like the shipping sample Philip showed on air. The trunk is more a tangle of stems and less of a braid. The top of the tree is not shaped very well, although I'm hoping that it grows out better and I can make it more round. Flash back to the first tree. I did manage to salvage a few leaves on that tree and I see a few spots where new growth is starting to emerge. I even had one bud that opened and it is truly a beautiful and unusual color. But in looking at the leaves on the first tree and comparing them with the leaves on the second tree, they are completely different. The leaves on the second tree are much larger, more spikey around the edges and look more like a rose of Sharon leaf than the first hibiscus. There are no buds on the second tree so I guess I'll need to wait until it blooms to see if is actually a Fiesta Hibiscus and not something else. Sorry Philip, but this order I'm a little disappointed in :(
