Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with purchase I'm not sure if it's where I'm from, but did not last very long. I was really hoping they would.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware of how hardy and the long of bloom color I purchased the Rose of Sharon from QVC and this Vendor many years ago. First the customers were told hardy in a whiskey barrel (not in Forest Hill, Md.). After living in Forest Hill, MD. for about 40yrs. I have had mild and minus zero temps. Try moving a Rose of Sharon in a 1/2 whiskey barrel that's filled with dirt. I called for a replacement and I was told I was two months over the one year protection. Not living down south, our plants may take time to show that they died over the winter. So that was the first tough luck. The second was when the Blue Bird Blooms, they're just about dead by the time they change from a red to the blue color then they died a couple of days later and the blue petals fall off. Now you may ask why buy the plants again? I know now what I'm getting. They will be placed in the ground and I don't care about how long the blue bird petals last. They are to fill a spot in my back that I'll only see from my upper deck. At my age of almost 70yrs. old I could care less about petals!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still growing after 5-6 years!! I purchased this item several years ago.. It took a while before the plant was ready to leaf out...I think it was about a year.I had them planted on huge oversize tree planters. They got so heavy I could hardly move them around. This would have been 2.5 years after purchasing. Finely decided to ground plant in front of bedroom Windows in the back yard. Water & plant food was still given..now 3 years...It's now winter of 2018 and the are still growing...this year had to cut the back so now we are waiting on spring.. Some of the tallest branches reach with inches of the roof line. Original colors was 1 pink & 1 blue...that was good up in till last spring.. now they both are an off white or a very pale pink...eat her way I'm good with it. I've have had to keep the cross branching cut back, and the new growth off from bottom or lower part of each tree now. Some their are Soooo many blooms on a branch with pulls the branch down. Each year I cut the new growth back so it will branch out wider. The point of this is that these grow good here in Texas...colors will fade and I'm good with that...but these are both growing great & I'm looking forward to Spring 2018 for them to bloom again. Minimal care is given now after 6 years...just WATER and feed to make lots of flowers!! I've looked on my all orders by year, and could not find them but I DID GET THEM FROM QVC!! This has happen a lot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Double Delight Rose of Sharon These bloomed the first year. However, blooms were not as vibrant as expected. I followed planting instructions and fertilized. We’ll see what happens next year!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Double Delight Rose of Sharon This flower did absolutely nothing all summer long. I was so disappointed. It showed so beautifully n TV but was nothing like what was shown or what was expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from flowers thought I would have more than one dull color. It is a light pink. Plant has grown to over 2.5 feet in just a couple months, have had several flowers all light pink. Would not have spent so much for this plant

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ONE COLOR BLOOMS ONLY I bought this by mail order because it was advertised as 2 colors, blue and pink. As you can see, although there are plenty of blooms, (I use Osomocote) they are all one color. Pink. I would not have paid this much for a one color plant. I could have bought a one color Rose of Sharon at Lowes for $14.99. Severely disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Still Waiting to Be Dazzled! Plant arrived in great shape, Put in large pots in pool area and no blooms at all. Hardly any growth either. So disappointing. I have approximately 25 bushes at my property that I have bought elsewhere (all colors).that are gorgeous. I should have saved my money and transplanted some of the smaller ones in the pots! Last purchase I will make from Cottage Farms!
