Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hydrangeas Ordered a couple times all blooms are pink even if I use fertilizer recommended. When I bought these they claim it didn't matter on the soil they would bloom both blue and pink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised Even Me..... I live in South Carolina near the North Carolina line, but it can still get very hot on summer day. I ordered these last year and planted them in a shady spot, hoping that they would survive. They surprised me when they started to grow and grow and have huge amazing blossoms that same summer. We just moved to a new home, but I made sure I brought them with me, and I am ordering two more for this summer. I hope they do as well as the last ones!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy Purchased 2 sets of these sub zero hydrangea last year to grow along my front fence. 4 died & 2 are barely alive with a couple leaves on them. None have bloomed. CF recently replaced the 4 dead ones. They are doing exactly what they did last year...turning brown & shriveling up. In addition, last year I bought and use the CF acid fertilizer and it's not helping. I have never worked so hard at babying plants than I do these & they still have not rewarded me with blooms. I won't give up on them because 2 sets cost a fortune but I won't buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will not purchase again Only one out of three is actually doing well. Only one has had one bloom on & off but the other two are in sad shape. Would not purchase again, I will just go to a local shop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from only two survived I received these plants and only 1 week later one of them died. I was going to let them know because there is supposed to be a guarantee on them but there is nowhere to email them. I guess I am stuck paying for three bushes and only having two, that is if the other two don't die also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful how you prune I have had Cottage Farms Hydrangeas for about 6 or 7 years now. Remember, a hydrangea blooms on the 2nd years growth, so don't trim down all the old growth when the new growth starts. It took me a couple years to figure this out, and now the bushes are really beautiful!
