I'm glad I have these extra containers, when you're doing a lot of chopping, it's really nice not to have to empty one. They are very large, and as I don't always want to mix the ingredient I've chopped, I still end up transferring to something smaller. Also, the lids ARE not easy to put on, you have to think about it. All this said, it's good to have extras. One thing I do not like, is they are not stackable, with or without the lids, that's why I took off a star. If they aren't in use, they take up a lot of space, and you don't want to fill them with other things, or they won't be ready when you need them...plus, they are not water or airtight.

I like these, it's very convenient for preparing and storing large quantities. Great idea to have extra containers.

I purchased these because I thought I could dice onions and store them in the refrigerator. It turns out that this is not air-tight so the onion fumes permeate the refrigerator.
I will keep them as I can probably use for other purposes.

Easy to use. Saves tons of time with prep work. Clean up is great in the dishwasher. The foot print is small.

I really love my Cooks Essentials electric mandolin slicer & dicer and this is a great addition. On the weekends, it is easy to do prep work for my salads and any recipes I'll be creating during the week and thanks to these containers, I am able to store all of my sliced/diced/shredded items straight into the refrigerator without having to transfer them to a storage bowl. Thankfully, they included an extra lid for use with the machine itself.......don't know why it wasn't included with the machine in the first place. At first, I was confused about how to close the lid onto the container, but it's quite easy once you realize that you just have to start at the back and then the rest just pretty much fits onto the container nicely.
