Rated 2 out of 5 by Recipes VERY Disappointed. Went to use my new cake, pie maker and there is NO recipes for you to know how long to let them bake them. So have not been able to use it. So I would not recommend it. 11-14-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quick Pie Maker Used it the other night to make apple pie with store bought crusts. They turned out OK, but regular is better provides a much better pie. The part I disliked was putting the crust in the cups. When the unit is hot the crust wants to melt, making it very easy to put a hole in the side. The crusts did not seal, but I think this can be cured by running a finger of water on the edge before putting on the top crust. There is crust waste because you can't get all 4 top and bottom crusts from one piece. Really didn't go to waste though ... rolled it back out, added butter, cinnamon, and sugar and baked in the oven. The big advantage is that you can bake a pie in less than 30 minutes and you can take extra pies and freeze them. With just wife and I and not having dessert every night it was nice to be able to freeze the two extra. With a conventional pie we eat is all in a few days. Some of the filling leaked out and was very difficult to remove. Be sure to lightly grease the cups. All in all, it is an OK addition to my kitchen. Looking forward to making some pot pies. Something you could do with canned stew ... though not my first choice, would be a quick and easy. BTW - even in the video there was some difficulty with the crust. 10-07-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by No more smoky oven! Love this pie maker! Instead of buying stale breakfasts foods from a convenience store I just make up my favorite pies in the morning. I make my own dough precut with the pastry cutters, put them in container and I'm ready to go. No need to use vegetable spray either. Love it! 09-02-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not my best idea I purchased this thinking I would let the grandkids have fun making mini pies. Big mistake. The only reason this was a mistake is because of the clean up. The clean up is not as easy as advertised. I let my 13 year old grandaughter make pies and of course she managed to overfill and burn some. It took my two days to clean the "non-stick" surface. Would not recommend young children use this because it gets very hot. I also found that clean up should be done when unit is hot. I would still recommend to an adult. Makes great pies. Haven't used it for anything else yet. 07-02-15

Rated 4 out of 5 by perfect for mini pot pies I love to make mini pot pies ahead and freeze them and this is perfect. I also like to make mini fruit pies and freeze them. I love cooks Essentials. 05-14-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Little Machine I am so glad I picked this machine up. I first tried the little cupcakes, great! Then I tried making mini peach pies that I served with vanilla ice cream. Wonderful! But my favorite are mini egg omelette quiches with a pie crust base. Fabulous! The non stick service is just that, non stick. It has not failed me. Highly recommend! 05-04-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by one of my better purchases ever LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine. We have made so many different things and the come out perfect. Just the two of use, but when the grand daughters come over they love to make the pies. 02-24-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wish the non-stick was better I bought this pie maker for the holidays with the intent of making mini-pies as gifts. The first batch came out beautifully and were easy to remove. The second was iffy. The third batch stuck like a Nightmare. And then clean-up was impossible. I followed all the instructions carefully and used cooking spray etc. But it was a big mess. Too bad 'cos the idea was really cute. Would like to have kept it if the non-stick coating was better. 02-12-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I love making fritatas in this cake/pie maker. They can be made to order, so it's great for multiple appetites. Vegies cook to al'dente. Haven' tried anything else. 01-11-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE IT Received my Pie & Cake maker several days ago and tried it immediately. Best pies ever. In less than 10 minutes my family can have fresh, hot pies. It has been used every day since. I love experimenting and clean up is a breeze. I'll never make a pie any other way. 01-01-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed I ordered this, then returned it for a replacement, and the replacement was bad, too. Never even plugged either one in. Problem? On the inside, both units had buckled/warped finishes, and someone very obviously really scratched away at the machines, trying to see if the defective paint would come off (so it seemed to me). I received both units damaged and in very unacceptable condition. I ended up spending twice as much on an Emeril pie maker from QVC, which has been great. 12-21-14
