CooksEssentials 8 quart Digital Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker
I am amazed at this product , It is awesome. I made a whole bag of potatoes 5pound bag in 15 mins , I made a boston butt in 45 mins, I made chicken wings a 3 pound bag , in 20 mins . I can not say enough about this poduct....just wonderful
OMG you will not believe this one
You can make soup in 16 minutes - not just soup but real slow cooked flavor in - I promise 16 minutes - I made a potato corn chowder and I thought no way can this be correct - it took me longer to cut up the veggies then it did to cook, finished the soup with cream when it was done cooking, brought up the seasoning and BOOM done...
I have been wanting one for years, we got one when we were first married 43 years ago and used it all of the time - the topper fell off and I couldn't find a replacement then the gasket broke and I turned the pot into a popcorn popper and never replaced it. A friend bought one of these and said you ought to try this one, so I looked into buying one that was simular to the one I had stove top and it was 89.99 - looked hers up it was 99. and on easy pay - so why not, right? it is fantastic you can cook beans in 15 minutes WHAT!!
get this you will love it
I used this product for six times, and it did a good job. However, when I went to use it for the seventh time, it would not turn on. It was dead so I sent it back for a refund. I do not recommend this product to anyone. It's of poor quality!!!. Geo.
Best kitchen appliance ever!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! And ! I don't cook! But I ordered this and have made everything in
The Comfortable Under Pressure Cookbook!! Everything has turned out amazing!!:)
Order this you won't be disappointed !!
Absolutely love this cooker!
I ordered this pressure cooker after doing quite a lot of research. After comparing price points and options at QVC and other merchants, I decided this seemed like the best value. I am thrilled with this cooker! I was hesitant at first because some reviewers stated they had issues with the non-stick coating peeling off, I have not had that problem at all. In fact, the coating on the cooker pot is very high quality and is on the inside and outside of the pot. My aunt had purchased the 6 qt version and highly recommended this brand to me. She also had no issues with the non-stick coating and loves the 6 qt cooker. I prefer the 8 qt version so that I have leftovers, my husband likes that too!! Excellent value and excellent cookware!
I was so excited to get this pressure cooker but the first attempt to use it was terrible. The pressure cooker takes longer than a regular pressure cooker. The instructions say it only takes 25 minutes to cook a pot roast but it actually took almost two hours to cook the roast. The roast was thawed out too. The roast still did not fall apart like the show on QVC showed onscreen. The carrots and potatoes were not all the way cooked either. I am sending this back. I am very disappointed with this product. It does not cook fast like it says. I am going back to my old pressure cooker.
Not my Best Buy
I haven't even paid my last payment on this pressure cooker and I plan to return it. I have now used it for the second time and it took over 2 hours to cook a 5 lb. pork roast. The first time I made bbq ribs and they came out tough. Not my idea of saving time in the kitchen.
I love the size of this pressure cooker. I can cook for just two or a crowd when the family comes over. Also love that I can set it and walk away...unlike my old one where I had to check constantly that the regulator needle stayed centered and did't stray one way or the other to far. There are two things that could have been done better though. The lid should go on much easier. I'm better used to it now and so it is easier, but if you are the least little bit off in the angle it can be frustrating. The second issue is that the directions say to do your browning on the brown rice setting. If you have several batches to brown it's frustrating as the brown rice setting shuts off after 5 minutes and you have to wait 2-3 minutes in between batches of browning food. Three batches (without crowding the food) is 9 minutes of wasted time that I could be done and on to something else that needs doing. I would recommend this product with reservations, because of these two things.
This pressure cooker has no browining cycle. It is very different than the pressure cookers you now show on QVC .I'm not happy with this cooker. I think it was not a good pressure cooker so you discontinued it. I have not seen this brand since I purchased it. COOK'S Essentials 8 quart. Never no if it is going to cook or not. I would never buy again
Cannot believe how fast you can make meals that used to take hours!
I ordered this and used it once for meatballs and sauce. The results were fine and had no problem using the control panel except the print is too small. However I had an awful time trying to get the lid back on. I thought it was on correctly but then I couldn't lock the lid so I knew it was on incorrectly. I gave up after several tries. I don't have time for all these attempts.I ordered the Power Pressure cooker which has a separate unattached twist on lid and should see better results.
I purchased this pressure cooker after watching the on air presentation. So far it does cook much quicker than a crockpot but I can't see where the meat is any more tender than in a crockpot. Also the on air presentation did not say anything about how long it actually takes the pressure cooker to get to the appropriate pressure before it starts cooking which does take some time.
