Yep, just stopped working one day. QVC was great, oddly I thought they were sending me another one kept waiting and waiting and then I saw a refund come through...after reading the reviews I am glad I got the refund...looking for another brand now. Can't n give it more than one star no matter how much I loved it if quit working!

I too loved this machine. Made wonderful rice and best ribs. My husband actually said it wa the best he ever had.
I browned a roast in it and then set it up to for pressure cooking and it just stopped. The unit would not come on. It was plugged in. I am very disappointed with the product.

Was very pleased with the dinner I made from Blue Jean's Fast Favorites Cookbook!! The dinner was done in 7 minutes and tasted like I spent hours making it. The pasta was perfect and steaming hot!!! Can't wait to use my new pressure cooker later this week. Don't get frustrated when directions say test it with water for the first time you use it. Takes several minutes to pressurize 4 quarts of water. I didn't know what to expect at first being a rookie. Very happy so far!!!

Loved this cooker, easy to use, but the float valve broke and now I find that Cooks Essential is out of business and there are no parts available. Sure hate throwing it away but if it doesn't work there is no sense in storing it.

Had this appliance for well over a year, used it a lot and Loved it. One day it stopped working when I was trying to cook for company. I sent QVC an email explaining the problem, they told me to return it and sent a free return label. I was so impressed with this reply. They did send a replacement; however, it never worked. Had to send it back. I was getting ready to order another one just now and thought I would check out the reviews. I'm glad that I read them because I will try another brand this time. Again, I do love the Customer Service dept. I've been shopping QVC for about 30 years, I've had 2 great experiences with the Customer Service during this time. They DO stand behind their products!!!!!!!!!!!! I will shop QVC for many, many more years.

I have loved this product. Loved the concept. Meals that used to take hours now finished in no time. But..,,I took it out to make ribs the other day. Imagine how sad I was to notice that the non stick finish at the bottom of the cooking pot was bubbled up and starting to peel away. I am sad. I really liked this purchase and will likely get another presssure cooker but not Cooks Essentials brand. I should have paid attention to the reviews but David Venable and Meredith (who I've always trusted before ) were so enthusiastic.
Of course it's out of warranty. I am wondering if anyone else had this problem. I never cooked without the proper amount of liquid. I know I did not misuse very disappointed

Please add our names to the list of folks who have experienced failures with this product.
As others have experienced, the product quits working. There appears to be a connection problem somewhere. Perhaps a cracked PC board, or faulty soldering on the component boards. The problem is NOT the cord or cord connection. In an attempt to create a high tech item, Cooks Essentials has let us down.

I have used my new pressure cooker once & was very happy with the results. I cooked a beef rump roast with onions, potatoes & carrots. In the oven that would have taken close to 4 hours & it was just 45 minutes for the roast. Then I added the potatoes & carrots in with the roast & cooked another 12 minutes. It was a delicious meal. I bought the cinnamon color & it is absolutely beautiful.
