Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken Won't turn on after using it only four times. Hunk of junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken I bought my daughter the Cook Essential pressure cooker and the pressure regulator knob broke off inside. She really loved her pressure cooker until it broke. I don't think I will buy another Cook Essential product. Oh! by the way I tried to contact the company and was told the phone number given was a spam number.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loved it till it broke This is my first QVC review and I am not a happy customer. I LOVED this pressure cooker and I bought it because I trust the Blue Jean chef and David Veneble so very much but after my experiences with this and 2 other items sold on David's show, I am far less trusting. I don't think I will ever buy anything else made by Cook's Essentials. My pressure cooker broke after 8 weeks of use. I got the dreaded E4 message and was told by customer service to send it back for a refund, which I did. Would rather have just had a working pressure cooker and I would rather not have to have had my faith in your presenters dented. :( I went out and bought an Instant Pot. Hopeful for it to work longer than 8 weeks....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more Slaving over the stove!!! I saw a video with the amount of food that came out this 4QT and I was blown away. This can feed a family of 4-6. I am a family of 2, so I have plenty of leftovers and plenty to share. I watched CookingwithDoug videos and was able to pretty much guide myself there after. I love the fact that I can brown first. The presets are awesome as well, to assist you in your cooking journey. I never had the old fashion pressure cookers, but I'm sure this is so much easier to use!!! I am now a Pressure Cooker addict!!! I have meals done in less than 20 minutes!!! No more slaving over the stove!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 2 - had trouble with both About 1-1/2 years ago I bought an earlier version of this model. It was to replace an even earlier version I had bought only a few months before that.. After using each one only a couple of times, the locking mechanism would not work on either of them. It seems Cooks Essentials has a problem with its pressure cookers. I will not buy another one. They worked great the twice I used them, but what good is it if they break after 2 usings and only a 30-day return policy. In the garbage they both went. A waste of money. Wish I could give this brand zero stars. This is not the first time I've had problems with Cooks Essentials products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from CooksEssentials 4 qt. Doesn't work properly. Have read and re-read instructions..also looked online for any tutorials or info and done the manufacturer suggestions. However, more often than not steam continues to come out the little knob on top. The few times I got it not to do that, it was more of a hassle trying to cook in this..took forever for the pressure to be reached..then the actual cook time begins, then either letting it decompress on it's own or letting the steam out.. Just my personal preference but so much easier to throw something in the crock-pot or oven.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Perplexed Came with small dent and the red indicator button does not work. Decided I could live that and have made some wonderful dishes. Now the lid refuses to close. Perplexed. Of course too late to return. Any suggestions?
