K29659 - Cooks Essentials 1 Liter Iced Tea Maker
I LOVE THIS TEA MAKER
This makes the best iced organic green tea! The basket is a little wobbly, but i can deal with it. i add four sweet 'lows and wedges of orange, lemon, and lime to the pot.
No more warehouse-club bottled green tea for me. i have already saved a fortune [not to mention lugging in the heavy cases]. Thank you Cooks Essentials
It Works and Tastes Better than what I was doing.
This works! I used to make tea too strong based on the color of the tea. But now the proportions are write.
Basket comes unhinged and is difficult to put back. The on switch has already become non functional in less than 6 uses. The lid on the pitcher takes two hands to remove due to its design. I totally wasted over $30 on this , I can understand it being on clearance now. It is going in the trash today, how sad. It was the perfect size however.
Poorly Engineered Piece of Junk
The basket that holds the teabags comes unhinged and it won't go back and it won't stay closed. Also, it is very flimsy. The only good thing about it is that the electrical cord can be easily tucked away inside the unit. Other than that, it's a flop and it's going back! Elle
sold out too soon
I hope you can get some more of these we really would like this for the whole family we are big tea drinkers
Great Iced Tea
I have really enjoyed this iced tea maker. It makes great iced tea. The only thing I think could use "a little improvement" is the off~on switch. I always have to press it a couple of times to hit it just right.
I took my maker to work and made my co-workers welcome. We look forward to our ice coffee everyday, I get excited just thinking about drinking my coffee and watching my savings grow. Thank you Cooks Essential for outdoing yourself with this product. As Lisa would say "Love, Love, Love"!

The hinged basket needs to be re-engineered. It will NOT stay shut. When I move the pitcher handle from steep to drain, it will not stay closed - I have to manually hold it until all the tea has drained into the pitcher...it is annoying to have to do this. Otherwise, the basket does hold the water to steep and I like the smaller size of the pitcher. If you would spend some time to redesign the hinges on the basket, this could be a 5-star.
excellent iced tea maker
got this as a gift from a friend who had it shipped to me. the iced tea that i've been making has turned out pefect everytime. clear as can be, no cloudy tea here. the flavor is excellent as well. i know some of these review mention that the tea basket comes off, well of course it does you have to clean it don't you. it's not a race to see how fast you can jerk it open, its a kitchen appliance to make life easier treat it well and take care of it and enjoy for a long lime. very pleased here. excellent results here. if you like tea and are thinking about this, in my opinion its worth it.
A waste of money. The tea basket falls off every time I used it. Makes a small pot of tea. Spend the couple of extra dollars and buy the one from Chris Freytag.
I have always stayed away from tea makers because they were expensive and just too crazy to operate. This one by Cook's Essentials is fantastic, easy to use if you read the directions and makes great blended tea. The right size and just easy to use. I give it a true thumbs up rating.
This machine makes just the right amount to keep in the frig and not take up all the room. It is easy to make my green tea and I love the size. I could not give it perfect five stars as the basket is very cheaply made and comes off the hinge if you are not careful. Overall I would be careful about how I use the basket but it makes great tea in no time at all and I would with that caution recommend this for the summer
