Didnt even work!
I got the cookies press a couple of days before Christmas. I was so excited that it had finally arrived just to find out that it didn't even work! I was so disappointed! I don't know what happened? I would press the button and nothing would happen. I'm not ever going to buy anything from QVC again.

sounds like a good idea, but stopped working in middle of 2nd batch of cookies. sending back. Not a Quality product.

ABSOLUTE JUNK
THIS GUN DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST ITEM I'VE EVER PURCHASED FROM QVC. AFTER ADJUSTING THE DOUGH SO IT WOULD GET PUSHED THROUGH THE TUBE I WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE TWO COOKIE SHEETS WORTH OF COOKIES (WHICH THEY LOOKED LIKE JUNK) BUT BY THE TIME I GOT TO THE THIRD SHEET THE MOTOR STARTED MAKING A LOUD NOISE AND IT DIED. HAD TO GO BACK TO THE OLD TRIED AND TRUE MANUAL ONE. I AS DO OTHERS THINK (BY READING THEIR REVIEWS) THIS PRESS SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SOLD UNTIL ALL THE BUGS HAVE BEEN WORKED OUT. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT'S GOING BACK!!!

Not Worth The Money
I was excited when I saw this on line. Thought it would be great fun making cookies with my daughters for the holidays. Not so, the recipe was tasty but the machine didn't work at all, even after melting the butter. We ended hand pressing the cookies. This will be returned immediately,

Dough would not come out. Tried several times. What a waste of my time and money!

Horrible!
It didn't work right the one time we got to use it.. went to make additional cookies and it wouldn't work. Great idea but needs LOTS of improvements.

Easy...but not at first!
I used the first recipe in the book that comes with the unit - Butter Cookies - and the cookies got stuck in the cylinder and wouldn't come out, because the dough was too hard. I was very disappointed and ready to return & give this product the same rating as most here because I could not get the thing to work properly, but I went back to see if there was something I missed. Turns out - when the recipe states that the butter should be "softened", I thought that meant room temperature, like most other recipes, but it actually means - "nearly melted"! I put the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds on a 2nd batch, and the dough was perfect and the machine worked great! Try it! Now, I'm not saying it's perfect, as the directions are not clear on the assembling of the unit or within the recipes, but I got it to work fine and my Christmas cookies were wonderful!

Well. the only good thing I can say about this is the recipe for the butter cookies. I had a hard time assemblying it, plus it is a little large and too bulky to handle. Then, when making the cookies, the dough got stuck in the discs and it came out a mess. The concept is good, but still needs a lot of work for it to be a good product. BUT, the recipe is good..ended up making balls and flattening them with a fork, like Peanut Butter cookies. So, not a good product. Sorry

Not worth the money!
This is poorly made. The instructions say to push the rod in until you hear a click--I tried repeatedly (as in many times) and could not get the rod to "click". Tried using it anyway and, although the motor seemed to work fine, it would not push the dough out. I've used many things from Cook's Essentials and, for the most part, they work well. This one? Forget it!

Cookies is a jiffy!
I bought this after trying the hand press and was so disappointed with the hand press I used, thought I would never find something to make spritz cookies.
After that disappointment I ran to QVC knowing they could save me, thankfully this "gun" as I like to call it, did. I love it!
Trying it tomorrow for deviled eggs so crossing my fingers that works also!

What A Disappointment!
I had an electric cookie press years ago and loved it, but lost it in our last move. What a disapointment this cookie press was! I couldn't get cookies to come out and the motor was making a horrible noise. I softened the consistency of the cookie dough and tried different disks, but it just didn't work. I went back to my old manual one and finally got my cookies made. This cookie press is going back!
